Racing is always a Learning curve ,sometime you don’t get the results you train so hard for but it either makes you or breaks you a negative can become the best positive outcome if you let it .Never cry learn motivate get stronger .The race is never over!

Strange seeing @EilishMccolgan solo race tonight , 31 years ago on the same track I did the exact same thing as my daughter and ran a solo pb in the pouring rain, a lot slower than eilish 30:57 but was the first women to break 31 mins …weird #family . #genetics

Road to recovery starts today . After a really freaky fall from jogging I broke my clavical from the shoulder bone so need surgery to repair. thought these injuries were behind me since I retired! Hopefully speedy recovery #healthyrunner #painfree #bachtowhatilovebest #running

Well that was a solid run from Eilish to go 3rd on the GB all time list for 5k. 14.47.94 in new Pb ,especially after tough couple days and only deciding to race after doing her stride outs .one more 1500m to end this racing period then back to the mountain air 💪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏃🏻‍♀️

UKA should learn from past experience There are many qualified women coaches that should be on teams There are certain things female athletes might feel awkward in chatting through with male coaches and it is a duty of care for all athletes to have women coaches on GB teams

The world champs in Doha have shown that people enjoy a competitive distance race no pace maker just competitive running.Yhe sprints for once were not the main attraction.surely the IAAF need to rethink their plan to not have longer endurance races in the DL
