Instead of deck boxes, playmats, etc, can vgc players get stuff like notebooks, plushies, maybe download codes for training items like mints and bottle caps could be cool. I’ve got piles of tcg stuff I’m never gonna use and I’m sure a lot of other players feel the same way.

I got top 4 at Charlotte regionals! I felt really good about my play the whole weekend. Sad it had to end in top 4, I definitely could’ve played and lead better. Bittersweet, but I’m ready to win it all next time. Kingambit is busted. See y’all at Ft Wayne.

I wanted to lock in Dragon Tera Gambit but the change was last minute and couldn’t get one in time so I locked in dark cause it was the only one I had. Dark Tera didn’t come up rly and I think dragon would’ve saved me a lot more. I have now learned to lock my team not last second

Day 2 needs to be made 16 slots. Day 1 Worlds being 300 and day 2 being 1100 is ridiculous. It would greatly incentivize people to not just stop at 300 cause I know a lot players dipped as soon as they hit that.

What was the first team you ever brought to a tournament that you felt proud of? My first team and first ever tournament! Went 8-1 in Swiss before getting destroyed by Taran in top cut. It’s inefficient (sash max HP lol), degenerate but I love it.

@komvgc Easily the best ones are the ones that are a mix of both. Flutter becoming a fairy means it now resists the many dark moves of the format while increasing its damage, and kingambit loses a lot of common weakness with Tera dark too. Purely defensive feels lackluster to me imo.

We need Top 16 or x-3 cut,at least for 6 round day 2. 6 round day 2 for events as large as euic means that in order for a 7-2 to make cut, they basically have to go undefeated, which is brutal. 7/8 of the players who made top 8 went into day 2 as 8-1s or better for reference
