I want to remind people once again that the NYPD has a larger budget than North Korea’s *entire military*
America accusing other countries of being a “totalitarian state” is a confession borne of projections
Alexei Navalny courageously exposed the corruption and lies of Putin’s authoritarian regime. Now Putin has killed him for it. The Russian people deserve better.
You should keep in mind that if you decide to become a whistleblower against a large corporation, it’s best to do it with as much anonymity as possible to avoid being “discovered dead” with corporate media outlets declaring you had a “self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head”
People calling the DPRK “imperialist” cant seriously understand what that word means. It’s a small & poor country bullied by the US empire
The DPRK has never invaded another country in its entire history (the Korean War is a *civil war* that isn’t over because of US obstruction)
One of the biggest lies that westerners tell is that all nonwhite people are just as bad as whites and would've committed the same atrocities, if given the exact same opportunities. They like to tell themselves that they were merely the first to do it to downplay their crimes
Hasan with the standard tankie racism where you treat East Asians like some magical race of superhumans who aren't doing the exact same imperialism we do in the west
He just wants the US with a communist flag on it
This is why it was so important for Venezuela and Cuba to purge the military/police of fascist sympathizers. This is easier said than done, but this is precisely the thing that's condemned as "authoritarian" in western propaganda.
Full offense intended: if you believed/spread the “Uyghur genocide” hoax in Xinjiang despite not seeing a single photo/video of alleged atrocities there from western propaganda, unlike the indisputable evidence we see everyday in Gaza, you’re a racist dumbass
Blinken avoids answering why Uyghurs are considered a genocide and Gaza not: "We've been very clear about the Uyghurs...I had the opportunity to lay out...when it came to the Rohingya exactly why we see the genocide being perpetrated...that's simply not the case...[in] Gaza"
Incredible. This singular tweet encapsulates the sheer dishonesty & idiocy in America
Americans when there are no photos/videos/mass migration from Xinjiang, narrative rejected by Muslim countries: “This is genocide!!”
Americans on evidence of Israeli genocide: “This is fake!!”
If we end up getting nuked, I want people to know that it is almost entirely the US regime's fault for provoking this war, constantly pursuing escalation and nuclear brinksmanship instead of diplomacy
Breaking News: The U.S. plans to send M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, officials said, a big step in arming Kyiv in its efforts to seize back territory from Russia.
Wait. Wait. WAIT. Wtf?!!
How am I just finding out that Destiny is LITERALLY a gusano descended from people who owned sugar plantations in Cuba?!!
You really can’t make this shit up!
It’s like being a loser who mocks martyrs for liberation is in this cuck’s DNA 🤣
Destiny: “Which part of Cuba did we come from?”
Destiny’s mom: “My grandfather’s sugar plantation."
Destiny: "Yeah, with the sl- with the..."
*awkward silence and laughter*
Destiny's mom: "I was 5 when we arrived in the States. I remember seeing a bunch of men all on horses."
"Hey, did you know that in AUTHORITARIAN China, American movies are only allowed to have ONE poster?"
"Hey, did you know Chinese people are so stupid they would have no idea that the lead of the movie *Black Panther* is Black behind that mask?"
The community note added here is hilarious considering they literally covered up Chadwick Boseman’s face on the Black panther poster so racist Chinese people didn’t have to look at a n*****
Muslims can tell the difference between a real genocide and a fake one by dishonest western propagandists
The Muslim world supports China's anti-terrorism approach via re-education rather than the indisputably documented US's approach of massacring/torturing/imprisoning people.
This wasn't exactly an "argument" since none of us got angry, but somehow my friend brought up the alleged "Uyghur genocide" in Xinjiang, and I mentioned I looked into the matter very thoroughly and that I think it's a lie and gave sources. He refused to look into it at all
Cornel West has allied himself with a small coterie of far-leftists, some of whom promote extremist ideology and some of whom have voiced support for authoritarian regimes.
White people who only comment on Israel/Palestine when Palestinians resist their occupation with empty platitudes like "Violence is always wrong," you can just go back to not caring & being quiet like you were when Israel was massacring Palestinians (and is still doing)
New piece from me, written with love for everyone in grief right now.
It has a simple message:
"Side with the child over the gun every single time, no matter whose gun and no matter whose child."
Moral consistency ≠ Moral equivalency. 💔
People who believe that Hamas "raped" women on Oct. 7 without any evidence simply because "those things happen in wartime" should familiarize themselves with the Myth of the spat-on Vietnam veteran.
Despite NOT A SINGLE INSTANCE of it being proven, the myth persists today
Time to retract and apologize
@BMarchetich
, and start to
#BelievePalestinians
when we tell you the genocidal enemy lies. We said from start that this was an atrocity propaganda hoax. Too many on the "left" were ready to believe our murderers over us.
This is evidence that most US "journalists" who work for pro-establishment publications like the New York Times and the Washington Post etc see themselves as employees of the US govt, rather than being an independent force working to keep the regime accountable to the people
This 21-year-old kid now faces 15 years in prison in extremely harsh conditions. Chelsea Manning was driven to three suicide attempts while incarcerated.
The New York Times, Washington Post and Bellingcat hunted him down for the FBI.
What a waste of lives and money. There were plenty of us who saw this coming from the very beginning of NATO's proxy war on Russia.
The goal was never something as delusional as Ukrainian victory, but simply to use Ukrainians as cannon fodder/sacrificial pawns to bleed Russia.
Seriously, out of all the legitimate critiques one can make of the DPRK, it behaving like an “imperialist” isn’t one of them.
It should be self-evidently and patently ridiculous but this is the world we live in when the western media can reverse reality like this
The one on the left was a socialist revolutionary who wrote insightful works on colonialism.
The one on the right is a coward and corrupt stooge who lets the western imperialist powers use his people as cannon fodder.
Lula taking a page from Cuba/Venezuela/Nicaragua on what leftists should do upon taking state power. They call it "authoritarian" because it's *effective* in weeding out the right-wing cucks to the US empire.
Most Americans are way too chicken to focus on criticizing US imperialism, because they fear being spied on, socially ostracized, smeared by the media and/or violently neutralized. It's why they feel more secure criticizing Putin inside American borders, which requires no courage
The Empire Gives People The Illusion Of Fighting The Power Without Ever Endangering Real Power
"For the last year, mainstream westerners have been using this war to act out their fantasies of being courageous up-punching anti-imperialists."
Every single dupe who claims there's a "Uyghur genocide" despite there being literally zero photos/videos of such alleged mass atrocities is a racist who thinks China is guilty until proven innocent, and rejects the principle of "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof"
If you want to get a sense of how utterly cretinous many Americans are, they have more outrage over a fictional "genocide" of Uyghurs in Xinjiang, than the ACTUAL genocide the US Empire has been supporting in Yemen, and the US's mass murder of Muslims in Afghanistan, Iraq etc
Alexey Navalny’s movement attempted a kind of mass mobilization rare among earlier liberal dissidents. He resisted the effort to stifle Russian society — an act of defiance for which he was killed.
Western apologists like to attribute the west's ongoing legacy of colonization and imperialism to the depravity of "human nature" we all apparently have (according to them), rather than to the unique barbarism of white supremacy and western civilization.
I remember when people posted videos of Uyghurs dancing for Eid last year and someone on Twitter predicting that western media outlets were going to claim the Chinese government "forced"/"paid" them to do their cultural dance, and then it happened LOL
It's hilarious to see people who shrieked about the "Uyghur Genocide" (which had no photo/video/record proof of any confirmed deaths), and the need to protect Ukraine/Taiwan's territorial integrity be *dead silent* when it comes to Israel's indisputable genocide of Palestinians
A bunch of white guys with weapons declaring to everyone that "we're here to stay" in Asia to supposedly defend Asian people from "expansionist" powers like China is a very believable narrative.
How could anyone ever doubt their noble intentions?
I just wanna say that I abhor America's authoritarian and corrupt political system where the working class are being screwed over by the capitalist parasites daily, along with the regime being based on racism, lies, violence and exploitation of others at home and abroad
I abhor China's authoritarian political system, but some major recent headlines have been Beijing: mediating end of Saudi-Iran hostilities; thus helping end the Yemen war Biden said he would but didn't; getting int.ntl buy-in for mediating peace in Ukraine. If this is the...
LOL Netflix's adaptation of Chinese author Cixin Liu's bestselling series *The Three Body Problem* did the standard whitewashing procedure by erasing almost all Asian male actors and replacing them with white men, while keeping the Asian female roles
Many Americans feign concern over alleged colonialism by Russia and China, but then proceed to do literally nothing about actually still-existing American colonialism in Puerto Rico (this is already setting aside the fact the US is based on settler colonialism).
Absolute joke
Pure evil: A US court overturned Puerto Rico's labor reform law that gave basic rights to private-sector workers
So now companies plan to demand Puerto Rican workers to pay them back their Christmas bonuses
Colonialism plus Scrooge-style capitalist greed
White liberals hate Cornel West's message because they are white supremacists who think NATO is a force for good, and that western domination of the world through violence and provocations is the just and natural order of things
Cornel West: "I want to head the US empire in order to dismantle it. We need to be a nation among nations. We don't need to be the grand empire that every nation has to bow down to. I am anti-imperialist. NATO is an instrument of US global power."
Like i've said before, every single person who denies that the US provoked the war in Ukraine is a knowing liar. This is entirely a case of people being cowardly conformists afraid of social backlash to point out the emperor has no clothes.
Here’s NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg admitting Russia informed NATO before the war that it could avert it by denying membership to Ukraine.
I had seen the text of this speech but not the video:
Others have pointed out how movies with Black leads have done well in Asian countries & how the Little Mermaid did poorly in countries like South Africa too.
But I dislike these defenses because it implies that Asians owe Americans explanations for not liking their shitty movies
Adam Johnson nailed it with this graph on the North Korea Law of Journalism years ago.
It's clear that concepts like "burden of proof" and "presumption of innocence" are only meant to apply to white people/US allies by western "journalists" and "human rights organizations"
The organization flat out rejects the idea that they should have to provide evidence for anything!
"Am I the one who needs to provide the evidence for the terrorists’ deeds? What kind of travesty is it that they are imposing the burden of proof on me?"
This is insane!
I see lots of white liberals trying to play it both ways and it's very frustrating & grotesque for how cowardly it is.
They talk out of both sides of their mouth when they "denounce" anti-Asian hate crimes, while simultaneously endorsing western Yellow Peril/atrocity propaganda
Everyone talks about anti Asian hate, but very rarely does anyone actually address the roots of the problem. Sinophobia and anti china sentiments. Anti Asian hate does not exist out of thin air. Asians are being attacked for being Chinese, or looking similar to Chinese people.
I find this dynamic interesting because wouldn't you want to look into whether your friend is "crazy" or a "moral monster" for "denying" what you think is a genocide? How are you not willing to even look at a single source provided?
The US empire basically told Ukrainians to go jump off a cliff for the sake of destabilizing Russia to maintain US world dominance, and that pathetic servile Zelensky just asked "How high?"
The most absurd part of this TikTok ban is that the baseless allegations of TikTok being Chinese “spyware” being true would make it one of the BEST features
Americans should PREFER that China, which has no jurisdiction over them, is doing the spying instead of their own govt!
For years in the US, long before TikTok, polls have been showing younger Americans - including younger US Jews - are becoming increasingly critical of Israel.
Blaming CHINA for people who disagree with you is like liberals who blame RUSSIA for voting against Hillary and Biden:
NEW: Merck is charging $200,000 for the life-saving cancer drug Keytruda.
They’re making a fortune off it. But it was developed using tax-payer dollars.
That means the federal government has the little-known power to lower the price by taking Merck’s patent and giving it away.
"Beijing's reputation as a predator"
According to whom? Just because the western media repeats claims about China doing "imperialism" in Africa doesn't mean it's true. They spread this narrative because it distracts people from what whites have done and are still doing in Africa
Wow it must have been really difficult for the Chinese to cast themselves as the "good guys of Africa" on the basis of their six-decade history sending tens of thousands of medical professionals to the continent on health aid missions.
I first read about US/NATO's provocations/lies and violation of its security guarantees to Russia in 2016 as an undergrad. What happened is exactly what critics of US foreign policy were warning about, yet they are demonized instead of vindicated in US public opinion
In 2014 The Guardian published an op-ed about Ukraine by
@SeumasMilne
that would be shriekingly condemned as Russian propaganda today. I doubt there's a single paragraph in this article that could be published in today's mainstream media environment.
I've known that China is fast at building things for a while now, but seeing videos like this where nothing ever seems to get done in the US is still astonishing to me
Soldiers told me they believe 40 babies/children were killed. The exact death toll is still unknown as the military continues to go house to house and find more Israeli casualties.
@BMarchetich
If multiple studies (as several replies below cite) shows that most Chinese nationals are happy and satisfied with their govt and consider their govt democratic, why do you think your opinion/characterization of their govt is more correct or matters more than theirs?
I've met some incredibly stupid and gullible people who think they're smart try to explain away all of Yeonmi Park's lies and contradictions in her fake sob stories about north Korea by claiming the "trauma" of her experiences caused her to misremember details LMAO
ALL OF YEONMI PARK’S LIES:
Yeonmi Park, the infamous North Korean defector, is well known for her lies and embellishments. Many of these she has never addressed, giving up to FOUR different versions of stories from her time in NK.
🪡 A Thread 🪡:
Whenever friends have asked me to explain the Ukraine situation, I simply asked them: "What do you think the US would do if Russia got Canada/Mexico to join an explicitly anti-US military alliance?" They instantly got the point.
Funny thing is that Cuba was not allowed to park Russian missiles in their country in 1962.
So why should Vladimir Putin accept NATO troops at the Russian border?
Before the Chinese revolution, ~95% of Tibetans were ILLITERATE. Now the illiteracy rate is ~35% largely due to compulsory childhood education (source: Statista).
These ignorant "human rights experts" don't even realize their own photo shows these students learning Tibetan!
UN experts alarmed by what appears to be policy of forced assimilation of the Tibetan identity into the dominant Han-Chinese majority through the residential school system.

Wikipedia is a garbage pro-western misinformation resource. It's now deleting inconvenient facts like the leader of ISIS-K formerly working for a top C I A proxy
This information has been scrubbed from Wikipedia, but
@bsarwary
and other Afghan journalists obtained ID cards that show that the reputed leader of ISIS-K was a security contractor for the US client state in Afghanistan. His license to deal weapons was issued by NATO.
In any case, this has happened numerous times before whenever other friends casually bring up atrocity headlines they've seen reported about China so I'm used to it.
I also know I'm much better informed than the average person about Xinjiang, so this doesn't deter me
I sound like a broken record but those who argue NATO expansion had nothing to do with Russia's decision to invade Ukraine are either (1) lying, (2) playing dumb or (3) hopelessly stupid.
There's a lot of willful ignorance in the US
Nazism is one of the west's core values, arguably the central one. it's why a lot of them support the Ukrainian puppet regime despite it coddling and endorsing literal Nazis
AP News confirming that the 98-year old veteran given standing ovation by Canadian parliament, is Yaroslav Hunka, who fought for the 14th division of the Waffen SS.
Canadian parliament gave a standing ovation to an outright Nazi collaborator.
First noticed by
@lingerence

This is why I've consistently argued that the US is more likely to throw Chinese-Americans into concentration camps than to de-escalate the situation and seek peaceful cooperation with China. It's also why I've argued many Americans actually hate both the Chinese people and govt
The Internment of Japanese “was wrong, but I would not be surprised to see it happen again, in time of war. It’s no justification, but it is the reality,” the Supreme Justice said. “In times of war, the laws fall silent.”
Be vigilant.
So many artists who are considered great (not necessarily by me) in the US have such mind-numbingly boring and conformist political opinions.
Shouldn't you lot be a more interesting and creative group?
The Chinese government literally publishes their 5 year plans in advance and we always find stories of China either achieving or making progress on those goals (ex. War on Poverty).
If western journos actually want to know about "insight into leadership plans," it's right there
WSJ: "The U.S. lost its human network in China just as Xi became Communist Party leader, in late 2012... in a catastrophic setback, this network was obliterated as China caught the traitors in its midst one by one."
This is also a case study in why merely abolishing state power isn't enough to end capitalism. If the left were to actually gain power in the US (and I'm not talking about the Democratic Party here, since they're not a left-wing party), what do you think MAGA types would do?
Bernie Sanders is living proof that people don't stop being cowardly opportunists once they reach old age with less to lose
I wouldn't agree, but I could somewhat understand elected officials with leftish politics compromising for career longevity. What excuse does Sanders have?
For people who wonder how Yeonmi Park got away with telling the most cartoonish lies about north Korea for years (which is now becoming too embarrassing to publicly support), please remember how dumb and ignorant the average American is, then factor in their vile racist minds
In case anyone actually needs this spelled out for them:
There's actually no "hypocrisy" behind western liberals' support for Ukraine & their opposition to Palestinian armed liberation struggle against Israeli settler colonialism. This is what's behind the obscurantist sophistry
Bernie Sanders opposed a ceasefire and is now pretending to be outraged by the results of that
He should go back to being an irrelevant cuck for the Democrats or just retire already since he's no longer useful for left-wing politics in the US
More than 23,000 people killed.
1.9 million displaced from their homes.
Children starving to death.
What’s going on RIGHT NOW in Gaza is a horrific humanitarian disaster and we cannot turn our backs on it.
Congress must act.
"Tankie" is the thought-terminating word people utter to describe anyone critical of US imperialism.
Ironically, the critics of US foreign policy (the "tankies") are the ones calling for diplomatic peace negotiations, whereas mainstream Americans support sending tanks to Ukraine
It’s so funny how “tankie” is now used to broadly describe anyone opposed to US involvement and weapons shipments to Ukraine, including…Michael Tracey and Glenn Greenwald.
Why am i not surprised that accounts with the Ukraine/Taiwan flags are the ones defending the Israeli settler colonial regime by advocating genocide against Palestinians?
One genocide is real and supported by the western imperialist powers. The other exists only in the delusional imagination of racists too lazy/incompetent to investigate the evidence free claims and hysterical lies from western propagandists
One is real and the other is not.
Executives need to face punishments like prison time or the fines need to be multiple times the value these corporations are getting by stealing from customers with fake weight scales
This TikToker just caught Walmart inflating the weight of chicken, and overcharging her.
It was posted days after Walmart paid $45 million to settle a lawsuit accusing it of inflating the weight of groceries to rip customers off.
The fine doesn't seem to have stopped them.
I don't even like Matt Taibbi, but I want to remind people that Mehdi Hasan is an opportunist snake who once asked for a job at the Daily Mail, a right-wing British newspaper, claiming that he's "always admired the paper's passion, rigour, boldness, and of course, news values"
In response to
@mehdirhasan
's attempted scolding,
@mtaibbi
says:
"The hilarity of this coming from MSNBC which did nothing but vomit up fake Russiagate stories... that you guys still haven't apologized for."
Mehdi's defense: "I wasn't there in that period."
It's a bit shocking and surreal for me, but apparently a good friend of mine knew the victims of the recent racist mass shooting in Allen, Texas.
Both parents and one of the kids were killed, leaving a boy orphaned.
By far the dumbest people I've encountered are those who think only other countries do propaganda. The ones who complain the loudest about Russian/Chinese propaganda seem to think American propaganda doesn't exist, or downplay the extent to which American propaganda dominates
I've never once interacted with this guy so this is hilarious.
I only checked out his account today because of his "East Asians are the most racistest people ever" tweet
Nancy Pelosi has an unhinged Karen style meltdown accusing anti genocide protesters of being Chinese and Putin puppets
Years of Russiagate and anti China propaganda broke the brains of Democrats
These types always say this without offering an actionable plan for how Asian-Americans can be less racist. They also like to say "conversation" when they really mean "a patronizing one-sided lecture" about how Asians are POC scabs/"white adjacent" race traitors
"Asian-Americans benefit from whiteness!"
Which is why everyone would rather put that they're Asian, rather than white, on their college admissions applications. Asians also famously never face any violent assaults or verbal harassment, or state surveillance for being Asian!
I realize most Americans are pretty uncultured and would never think to actually listen to/read Putin and Xi's speeches/writings, but if you actually listen to them, you'll be impressed with how much more erudite and eloquent they are compared to unsophisticated louts like Biden
The thing glaring to me and other friends about Tucker’s interview of Putin has nothing to do with who is right. I just can’t imagine having a leader who is that intellectual/thoughtful/well-read. Western leaders are either oaf-ish or empty minded pretty boy.
I already looked into what allegedly happened on Tiananmen Square in 1989 (known as 6/4 in China) to know that the popular western caricature of the PLA shooting down thousands of peaceful student protestors is a lie, but this was a really excellent & informative article on it!
✍️My latest for the anniversary of Tiananmen.
From Cultural Revolution to the Reform and Opening-Up era, I trace the economic conditions, ideological undercurrents, and class divisions which led to the protests—and what did and didn't happen June 4, 1989.
Never ever apologize to the morons or cowards who mindlessly swallowed or spread the nonexistent “Uyghur genocide” narrative in Xinjiang.
It never had any evidence and was only based on the racist idea that China is guilty until proven innocent
In 2024, 8 years after the initial corporate propaganda psyop against China's non-violent anti-radicalization and poverty alleviation programs in Xinjiang, the fat editors of Wikipedia finally changed the title of their "Uyghur Genocide" article to "Persecution of Uyghurs in
One of the most insidious aspects of western propaganda on the war in Ukraine is that they equate "support for Ukraine" with "whatever Zelensky wants" and "whatever current US foreign policy is."
Zelensky is a corrupt puppet leader selling out his own people to the US empire
What does "support the people of Ukraine" even mean in this context? The U.S.-backed Zelensky gov't has only used the war to escalate its all-out attack on unions and labor regulation in the hopes of attracting foreign investment.
The US and Europe want everyone to believe that pacifism is the only legitimate answer because they want a total unchecked monopoly on violence.
Did the US/Europe become rich and powerful and maintain their chokehold on global politics through peaceful diplomacy?
The weaponization of pacifism by the ruling class brainwashed the populace into thinking it’s morally wrong to resist your violent occupier
The ruling class tells us violence is never the answer meanwhile they solve all their problems with violence and murder
Decolonize your
Americans primarily support Taiwanese secession because they hate China; they don't hate China because they support Taiwanese secession.
This is why Americans will continue to do so even if the people of Taiwan themselves think the US's "help" is unwanted and counterproductive!
A majority of Taiwanese people believe that Pelosi’s visit was detrimental to Taiwan’s security

I suppose I could impotently shake my fist and howl at the wind telling people to "READ THE PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE!!1!" on why Covid-19 almost certainly does not have a lab origin (which no one will do), so I will skip that part.
Just read these screenshots, bro!
Donnie Yen is cool in many ways. He's also known for turning down roles if he felt they are degrading to Asian people since Hollywood is incredibly racist and likes to typecast racial minorities
Recently, Donnie Yen told the British media GQ Hype that the development of China and the real China are never reported by the western media like BBC and CNN and constantly smear China.
He pointed out the following 3 points:
The reason the US & Europe support Israeli violence but not Palestinian armed resistance to settler colonialism is that they think the violence of the colonizer & slavemaster is righteous, but the violence of the oppressed is unacceptable
It's white supremacist logic at heart
"By what standard of morality can the violence used by a slave to break his chains be considered the same as the violence of a slave master?” - Walter Rodney
It always amazes me that there are people who don't realize that bigotry is closely tied to geopolitics. Do they not know that dehumanization of Asian people is a justification for US-led imperialism in Asia?
Malcolm X connected anti-blackness to western exploitation of Africa
The western media is a gaslighting lynch mob.
It whitewashes atrocities by the western imperialist powers and their allies, and it amplifies sensationalist atrocity allegations against insufficiently servile populations to justify more violence against them
If this is true, be prepared for more "OMG Iran executed 50 gajillion people, how could these evil Muslim barbarians do that?!!1!" and "we must liberate Iranian women RIGHT NOW!!!1!" type of stories in the US media
If everyone is pointing out that US sanctions on Syria are harming the livelihood of Syrians, and the US government refuses to remove them, then why shouldn't one conclude that the US govt wants Syrians to suffer and die?
Without any exaggeration, I think Genocide Joe has to be among the worst 5 presidents this shithole of a country ever had.
He’s literally that bad.
Do you agree or disagree?
This is insane.
Joe Biden & his administration are leading the region & hundreds of millions of people into a bloody disaster with the carte blanche they’ve given to Israel.
Many westerners like to claim the Putin-led government in Russia is an "autocratic dictatorship", but if that is true, then Russians are absolved of guilt.
But since Americans claim to live in a "representative democracy," that means they have maximal guilt for US war crimes
There Are No Innocent Americans
If the logic that "there are no innocent Russians" because the Russian people have a moral obligation to overthrow their warmongering government were evenly applied, it would also apply to Americans.
Here we go again: the disingenuous critique of "whataboutism."
No one ever argues that because western regimes do bad things, it's therefore okay for X country to do bad things. The argument is that the sanctimonious westerners are lying hypocrites who don't care about morality
I'm extremely biased here for obvious reasons, but if you look at the replies to this tweet, it never ceases to amaze how casually racist these anonymous white people are towards Asians.
Just posting a picture is enough to trigger their vulgar minds
Admittedly, I was a little wary about SHEIN and Temu at first because I didn't do any research on these companies and only heard of the vague negative press they got, but once i found out it was just the Xinjiang bullshit all over again, i made my first purchases 😎
The Biden regime is not qualitatively better than Trump's in regards to US foreign policy on China. They're practically identical
They're both racist administrations that endorse Yellow Peril propaganda, escalatory provocations & state persecution to preserve US imperialism
I don't know where Covid came from, but does seem awfully disingenuous for the Biden administration to coincidentally adopt Trump's theory of a Wuhan lab leak just as Biden has been drastically ramping up his anti-China warmongering.
A lot of western journalists are simply human garbage. The fact that they move like a herd to help identify and arrest the leaker, instead of discussing the importance/substance of the leaked information, is absurd.
These sycophants of US imperialism are real scum of the earth
Contributing writer at The Atlantic
@AmyZegart
declares the real "heroes" of the week were all the amazing journalists who participated in a "dragnet" to identify the leaker, at which time the FBI "moved into action" and nabbed him. A true landmark feat of journalistic heroism
Whenever I hear non-Asians talk about affirmative action, they basically ignore how unfair it is to Asian-Americans and simply never discuss it because it benefits non-Asian minorities.
The silence implies: "Yeah, it sucks for Asians, but we look out for own interests first"
A lot of Americans don't have any problems with genocide or imperialism. In fact, they endorse it and argue it's justified/necessary. They just dislike it when they perceive geopolitical rivals like Russia or China to be doing it.
Pelosi: "The Bush family it's because of their humanity, their faith, their generosity of spirit, their compassion. Once again, it's an honor to be associated with President George W. Bush in this."
The opinion of mine that most often pisses off many westerners is that I explicitly express doubt of their professed "good intentions" or argue that they are lying when they claim to care about "moral consistency" & "human rights."
They actually believe in "might makes right"
I just asked sports minister
@PascaleStOnge_
who is pushing to bar 🇷🇺 & Belarusian
athletes from sports competitions whether she felt the same way about US athletes after they invaded Iraq? Or 🇨🇦 athletes after bombing Libya. Or apartheid 🇮🇱 athletes? She smirked & walked away
