Attempting to blame Chinese "debt trap" for the Sri Lanka crisis is either shameless propaganda or wilful ignorance. China holds 10% of Sri Lanka's foreign debt, generally at lower interest rates and longer repayment terms. The bulk is held by Japan and the Western institutions.

Libya is currently ranked 105th in the world in terms of human development index. In 2010, before the regime change war, it was ranked 53rd (highest in Africa). That's what NATO's commitment to democracy & human rights looks like. Those supporting NATO now are scoundrels or fools

I guess this is what Chinese imperialism looks like. The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, funded and built by China, is nearing completion. The next phase is to build the Africa CDC's regional collaborating centres in Egypt, Gabon, Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia.

Some Marxists in the West see that nationalism has played an important role in the Chinese/Vietnamese/Korean/Cuban revolutions and conclude that we must build a revolutionary nationalism in the imperialist heartlands. Understandable but incorrect. There is no class basis for it.
