Our Finn, a rescue dog, thrown from a van (we believe cos he's terrified of vans, rivers, traffic); previous owner registered 60 miles from where we live. Finn made it to Cork by road, along ditches to avoid traffic, rescued by volunteers in Blackpool. He lives forever with us 💝

I've been away from here for a while. It's been a very difficult time. Feels like I'm living my life on two levels. One is where everything has to appear normal, while the other is a complete nightmare where you're trying to plan for all the awful stuff that lies ahead.

I love this woman so much. It takes someone supremely strong to stand by you when you get really bad news, and you lie awake through nights that feel like they'll never end. But @PaulaDelaney53 manages to make me laugh and sing. She even got me drunk tonight! Happy days forever

Thanks for all the kind words. Doing ok right now. A lot of new medication which really helps. But I believe feeling good is also about mindset. Slowly getting into a training routine. Taking it a day at a time. Uncertain road ahead. But its no different to any other road in life

Interesting how Tubridy and Kelly timed the Oireachtas hearing - the final sitting of the Dáil before TDs head off on their holidays. No more will happen after Tuesday. We will all forget over time because something new will come along to distract us all. Just like it always does

Went back to the gym earlier after the morning oxygen session. Looking for any excuse to get out of going; but I got there! First time in a long time to work out and lift weights. It was a short very difficult session; but the gloves are back on at last so let the Challenge begin

Just started CBD cream for the pain which has been unbearable, mostly around 4am when the world is a quiet place. Shooting pain through my feet, hands, fingers, knees and rib muscles. Feeling much better, thanks to this. No one should ever have to be in physical pain these days

It was the most beautiful day last Friday. We got to celebrate our wedding at last with close friends and family. @pocallaghan53 you light up my life. I love you. To those friends who couldn't join us, we'll just have to celebrate all over again very soon. Love is so precious
