We dont have to look any further than the UK to see how Hate Speech legislation works in effect. In a few months time it could be the Gardaí compelled to arrest individuals on such grounds.

Violence is already illegal. It is disingenuous to argue that we don't already have laws on the books against harassment and assault. Don't fall for the narrative that to stop violence we need to also outlaw opinions and protests.

Hate can’t be tolerated. Whether it is senators or influencers or their foot soldiers. Hate is transferable: The Jews, Muslims, Gay community, our trans friends, Asylum seekers, TDs, Doctors. Yesterday was the result of that tolerance. The Hate laws cannot be passed soon enough.
