29th October (1973) Catholic Patrick Campbell was murdered by the Glenane gang at his home in Banbridge. His wife identified the killer Robin Jackson in a line up, but Jackson was mysteriously released without charge. He went on to help kill 33 people the following year.

In January 1982, RUC Chief Constable John Hermon threatened the Secretary of State, that he could not guarantee his co-operation if the UDA was outlawed. According to the book Lost Lives, the UDA was responsible for 431 murders, 85% of them Catholic civilians.

17 Jan (1993). Catholic Sharon McKenna was murdered by a UVF/Special branch agent while delivering a meal to an elderly Protestant man (Shore Road, Mount Vernon). RUC Special Branch knew the agent had murdered before and allowed him to murder again.

Aug 27 (1976). Joe Dempsey , his wife Jeanette and their daughter Brigeen, aged just 10 months, were murdered for their faith after the UDA petrol bombed their home in Hillman St, New Lodge. (RIP).

2nd April (1992). The UDA murdered Sinn Fein election worker Danny Cassidy in Kilrea. He was threatened by the RUC in the days before his death. He had been constantly harassed by a divisional mobile support unit of the RUC. UDA/RUC collusion was widespread at the time.

Between July 21-29th. The UDA killed more civilians than the IRA did on Bloody Friday. Anthony Davidson, Rosemary McCartney, Patrick O'Neill, Frederick Maguire, Francis Corr, James McGerty, Francis McStravick, Philip Maguire, Daniel Dunne. The UDA remained legal until 1992.

11th August (1993). The body of 24 year old Catholic Seamus Hopkins was found off the Shankill. He had been beaten to death by a mob of Loyalist savages days earlier. In a previous Loyalist attack, Seamus had breeze blocks dropped on his head resulting in brain damage. RIP
