Unionists going apeshit over the Irish Language costs. But expect everyone else, whether they like it or not, to foot the tax bill for 2,000 odd sectarian marches every year.

@CaltonBooks
About time they paid for their own marches. Keeping minority languages alive is a much more worthwhile concern than allowing bigots to disrupt cities with their 17th century brand of anti-catholic hatred.
@FrankoSerpico
Im not a member of the OO but I do know the parade in Rossnowlagh Co Donegal passes off peacefully every year with minimal Garda presence.Maybe if areas in NI didn't bus in loads of highly offended concerned citizens from other areas then the bill wouldn't be so high. Just saying
@Donnell18178636
"Maybe if areas in NI didn't bus in loads" Aye , maybe if Loyalists and the Orange Order didn't insist on rubbing Catholics noses in it every year by insisting on having so many sectarian marches as close to Catholic homes as possible.

Maybe the marches now need to be part of the negotiations when the parties recommence talks. They are a prime example of Cultural Supremacy, more so than any ILA or Ulster Scots act.

Maybe Nationalists need to reassess where these Triumphalist sectarian marches can proceed. A lot of progress was made, but you can see now how Unionists can reply.
