I take over 5,000 pills a year and the amount keeps growing. If I got pregnant tomorrow, they'd be taken away. I'd be bedbound for 9 months. I'd be wheelchair bound for life. I could bleed out and die during birth. My daughter faces this same thing later in life. #together4yes

My daughter is so sick from COVID now that GP has had to prescribe her anti nausea meds for chemo patients. If that doesn't work, up to hospital for an IV. I 100% blame Government policy for this. She is terrified and I am nervous with worry. Mild strain, my arse.

What I have learned today. Most people are shocked at rate of children with Covid. Most are concerned about schools reopening. No huge surprise, really. What *did* surprise me is the amount of people who think it's OK to sacrifice vulnerable people like me and my children.

There are so many of us who were ripped away from our mothers by the hands of the Church (wasn't born in an institution but didn't stop the Nuns from coming to take me). The Church should be pay redress or have their land taken. They made money on the backs of survivors.

Tony Groves kindly let us borrow the zoom account as it was going to cost over €100 for a pro account. I asked him for help 3. Our TDs and Cllrs are more than happy to work with other Parties who align with our social democratic policies 😊 Within the last 2 yrs we have trebled our TDs, almost trebled our Cllrs and we've had 3 surges of membership this year. I think our own brand is doing just fine 😉

So they are looking at reducing the amount of inheritance you can get tax free? There are thousands of us with disabilities who get left inheritance so we can thrive (and not just survive) and now they want to reduce our chances of getting out of poverty even more?!

TW: Suicide, gaslighting. Today I am in the Indo talking about the gaslighting and dismissal women face within Irish healthcare. On days when I want to throw the towel at politics, this is a big reason I keep going. Medical gaslighting nearly killed me.

Smallie has had first dose. Keeping her home for a week to let it kick in and give her some form of protection before sending her back. Would be fabulous if remote learning was available for high risk families in this position.

No, I did not watch the 8th film. I haven't watched anything on the 8th since. I said it at the 2018 March for Choice, I haven't sighed with relief yet. Remember we still need exclusion zones and the legislation isn't good enough and disproportionately affects disabled people.

For those of you saying vulnerable people should stay inside so you can get on with your lives I see NOBODY but the people I live with and I have caught yet another tummy bug. So even though I stayed inside, I'm still sick. Covid doesn't magically stay at the door either.
