In Cincinnati I tried to use a scooter at midnight and a taxi driver told me they turn them off at 10pm because of all the drunks. "Why don't they turn cars off then?" If we spent 1% of the time scrutinizing drivers that we spend on non-drivers...

I didn't make it to LA Bike Fest :(. I was hit by a driver a mile away. I'm ok enough, at urgent care getting my arm looked at. I'll live. Haven't had a chance to look at video (or talk to lawyer) so I'll keep it at that for now. Riding in LA shouldn't be this hard.

A man was killed here over the weekend. My first time by it I was passed by four people, all of which driving over 45 miles per hour including a jeep with no front or back plates going 51mph.
