Thinking about
@MelBrooks
today. It’s his 95th birthday, his first (in many years) without Carl. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the day my grandfather passed away. Two best friends, forever connected. Love you both.
Of all his accomplishments, I believe what my grandpa was most proud of were his children and grandchildren. I felt his pride every time I saw him. He lived a dream life, and although I miss him dearly, he can now be with his first love, grandma Estelle. I love you grandpa.
Want to wish the greatest parents in the world the happiest of birthdays! (Mom: Wed., Dad: today). They’ve always been so loving. I adore & admire them with my whole heart. Btw, this was taken at G7 of the ‘17 ALCS, right before the
#Astros
cheated the
#Dodgers
out of a title 😉
For years my grandfather checked the obituaries to see if he was mentioned. Then, when he didn’t see his name, he proceeded to eat breakfast. A year after his death, I find solace in the fact that he can now just eat breakfast without the added anxiety. Missing him dearly.
A few years ago, I was just getting my acting career going. As a favor to my dad - Norman Lear took a meeting with me. He was very kind and offered his advice. Midway through, out of nowhere, (then-Lt. Gov)

Want to wish all those who've served a happy
#VeteransDay
. I'd like to honor my grandfather who was drafted into the Army in 1943. He trained in the Signal Corps as a radio & teleprinter operator. The night before he was shipped out overseas he got a life changing audition..(1/2)
I don't know who needs to hear this, but the
#Dodgers
should absolutely NOT fire Dave Roberts. He kept a team together that wasn't healthy at any point this season, won 106 games and led them to the NLCS. He is not why the Dodgers lost this series. Period.
Before the pandemic, I interviewed my grandfather and father for a show I am developing where baseball fans can share stories and their love of the game. This clip is perfect not only for
#OpeningDay
but for this crazy season we're about to witness.

Instead of breaking his meeting w/me, Norman invited Newsom in & the 3 of us chatted for 15 mins to finish our chat. It was surreal and I felt like the one person that clearly shouldn't have been there. I'll always remember NL for his kindness and what he meant to my dad. (2/2)
Parents’ birthday week appreciation post. My mom’s was Thursday and my Dad’s is today. Much like we all have the “best doctors,” I truly have the best parents. I love you mom & dad - happy birthday!!!
Matthew Stafford & the Rams offering to pay for the medical expenses & new cameras of the photographer who fell yesterday was the right move, but people on here still gonna drag him just because they are unhappy in their own lives.
Really cool, per
@Ken_Rosenthal
, Taylor valued staying with the
#Dodgers
over potentially making more money elsewhere. That speaks volumes about how great the organization is as well as CT3 as a person.
The future
#Dodgers
rotation:
Walker Buehler
Julio Urias
Dustin May
Bobby Miller
Ryan Pepiot
Except for Julio (international signing), all we’re drafted by a team that clearly buys all their talent… 😂
This is my lasting memory of AJ Pollock as a Dodger + how he and CT3 carried the offense through stretches in 2021 when the rest of the team was slumping. Won a ring the year prior. He’ll be missed more than we’d like to admit.

What a complete and utter disaster. This fanbase deserves so much better than what we've endured during the entirety of the Dave Roberts era. Not to say it all falls on him but these rosters year in and year out should net you more than one damn title.

4.7.17 is a memorable date for me for many reasons. 3 years ago my father & grandfather became the first father-son duo to be cemented at the TCL Chinese Theatre 🎭. Little did I know I’d also meet the love of my life later that day.

Nothing pleases me more than knowing that I have lived the best life possible by having met & marrying the gifted Estelle (Stella) Lebost---who partnered with me in bringing Rob, Annie & Lucas Reiner into to this needy & evolving world.

It’s worth pointing out not only was the
#Dodgers
bullpen elite tonight, but Dave Roberts managed one hell of a game. Took Scherzer & Treinen out at just the right time and both Kelly & Knebel shut their respective doors.
Recently visited my grandfather’s house & was allowed to collect certain items that mean a lot to me. This Hollywood trading card (circa 1991) was in his room & stuck out to me. Just thought it was cool and wanted to share.
Cody Bellinger leaving really feels like the end of an era for the
#Dodgers
. He was a Dodger legend. The good news is the future is bright and they'll still make the playoffs in 2023 even if Andrew Friedman remains in hibernation all offseason.
Two legendary baseball coaches, Tommy Lasorda & Rod Dedeaux, pose with a shaggy-haired prospect from the independent league team "Hollywood Stars" at Dodger Stadium circa early '70s. Don't know what became of that stud - but an amazing moment for him nonetheless.
No one asked for this, but I feel the need to praise the one and only Takashi Saito. This guy came over to the US in ‘06 as a 36-year-old “rookie,” and over the course of 3 seasons put up these numbers for the

If the

weren’t in the NL West they would be in 1st place in 4 of the 5 other divisions. How’s that for an underachieving team with an injured list longer than a CVS receipt? 2021 is a weird season.
This quote from Andre Ethier sounds like the final speech of a dramatic baseball movie where the aging star pleads for just one more crack at it. Honestly, I think we should make it happen.

How do you explain Muncy, Taylor, Bellinger, Lux, Smith, Justin Turner, Kershaw, Buehler, & Urias?…all either homegrown or plucked from obscurity. I hate this dumb argument.
We all remember when they mortgaged the farm for Max Muncy, Chris Taylor & Tyler Anderson right? The
#Dodgers
have a great organization because they develop homegrown players, find diamonds in the rough, and pay big money for elite talent.
I decided that I was no longer satisfied writing “single” on my tax documents so I asked my best friend in the whole world if we could start filling out those forms differently. She said yes!
If you could bring back ONE former

The Rams literally only had 3 bad weeks. They just happened all in a row, thus the panic. I’m glad we got the panic out of systems now, and can recognize this is an elite football team at 9-4.
