A white family, in a 90% white country, shocker. Name one African country where 100% of any senior group, government, the judiciary, family is not 100% black and that’s a problem. Why does UK TV allow this absolute incoherent nonsense to air.
If indeed there is a problem with diversity in the entertainment industry, which I would serious question, you can’t fix it by giving people prizes that they don’t deserve, nor should they want them.
@adilray
I get asked where I’m from all the time, mostly when I’m in other African countries. If this is all she said then I think people need to grow up, or perhaps more to the point stop being so dishonest.
Where is the cutoff point on reparations (for anything)? 100 years, 200..500? And what is the criteria for which countries have to pay it? All of them involved in the issue eg slavery or pollution? Or just the ones the suit the leftist narrative?
@DanielaNadj
Have you ever been to Rwanda? No, of course not; because if you had you would know that it is one
@of
the safest countries in the world, let alone Africa. Another leftist bigot spouting off.
@MarinaPurkiss
@JuliaHB1
Leftist do make me laugh. They are more than happy to spew abuse, often racist abuse; but if it’s one of theirs the pearl clutching and shrieks - hypocrisy at its finish.
@howe13_13
If a Tory MP said anything close to this,
@uklabour
would be crying for them to resign. I think
@UKLabour
should apply their own standards. But of course they won’t.
@SadiqKhan
Labour: windfall tax, give government workers inflation+ increases, reduce mortgage rates, lower inflation.
Also Labour: introduce a regressive tax that disproportionately affects the poor and working class
Incoherent nonsense.
@UKLabour
are unelectable.
@narindertweets
This idea that all black and brown people must have the same opinions (which happen to be your leftist opinions) or else they are some how not black enough is a generalization, and absolutely racist.
@MatthewStadlen
Please stop using that word, you clearly don’t know what it means. Using to discredit people who disagree with you because you don’t have or are too lazy to make an argument cheapens it and makes it harder to deal with actual cases of racism.
@Transanimals3
He is not a woman, literally, scientifically, factually and never will be. Feeling like something does not make you that thing. You and he are entitled to believe what you want, but don’t expect everyone else to believe things that are not true.
@AngelaRayner
In order to be able to consider the alternatives, it would be useful if
@uklabour
had some polices or solutions. All we get is childish insults. You won’t get my vote by doing that. We need grown ups running the country.
@talkRADIO
@JuliaHB1
@calvinrobinson
I always ask the question that if you turned this around and a white personal made a sweeping generalization about another race what would happen? I’ll tell you: outrage and cries of racism.
@estherk_k
@ArchRose90
The reality is that she makes money out her race grift, and the UK is one of the best places in the word to ply her trade. Who knows what she really thinks, she could be a whole different person in private.
@ArchRose90
If you are a journalist for the BBC you should be the absolute best, the elite. This is embarrassing and a prime example of the left of today who struggle to defend most of their arguments when faced with even the slightest scrutiny.
@RedCollectiveUK
@SuellaBraverman
Another lefty choosing to ignore the massive disparity in the proportion of the population because it suits their narrative. This makes you an enabler; you are the problem.
@adilray
There are some reasonable arguments as to why Shamima Begum should return to the UK, but in typical fashion rather than making them, many on the left think they can win the debate by calling everyone who disagrees with them racist. That’s race baiting.
@narindertweets
Why are leftists so crude and nasty? They resort to ad hominem because they cannot forward any constructive arguments or debate to defend their position. I suspect the reason for this is that they do not even understand their position, but the tribe says they must follow it.
@riotgrandma72
Completely made up story. Honestly, if your argument is so strong; why do you feel the need to constantly lie? Who do you think you audience is? People who don’t know what the inside of their supermarket looks like?
@Dominiquetaegon
@Leila_Latif
@guardian
The vast vast majority of articles in The Guardian literally contain zero facts or present what facts there are disingenuously. It’s not a serious newspaper; more so fiction to make self loathing leftists feel better about themselves.
@Wales4Ukraine
@GaryLineker
It doesn’t matter what he said; it doesn’t mattter if you agree with what he said or not; what matters is if he broke the rules.
@RichieBrave
@darrengrimes_
I think you are missing the point. This isn’t about the specific statue. The point is that you can’t topple a statue that you don’t like. If it’s ok to do that, then any statue is fair game - Mandela, Ghandi. The precedent appears to have been set.
@zarahsultana
Shell’s profits in the Uk are £1.6bn upon which they pay £400mn of tax. The UK government can’t touch the other £30.4bn because of double taxation agreements. So what’s the plan?
@sonofr
If remain lose again, will you accept the will of the people? If remain win, will you accept another referendum 5 years later? Democracy has to work both ways, do you accept that?
@richardosman
This is not about free speech, or whether you agree with what
@GaryLineker
said or not. It’s about the rules - did he break BBC impartiality rules or not?
@zarahsultana
I have 2 questions: 1) how many refugees and migrants can the UK take in? 2) what is
@uklabour
plan to stop illegal immigration. Talk about being nice is not a policy or a plan, we need details; and then we can decide whether we want to vote for you.
