Amazing stat line for Justice Taylor tonight. 16 rushes for 375 yds, 7 TDs (both school records). Also 7-13 passing for 202 yds, and 4 more TDs. That’s a total of 577 yards and 11 TDs. Gonna miss this young man. He’s a warrior! LW 81-31 over Lynnwood. Finished the season 5-4.

This has to be one of the most heads up plays by a receiver that I've ever seen and a guy that just wont let his team lose. The way he focused on the defender who had the easy pick and just took it away from him was amazing! What a way to claim a 3A State Championship!

Last spring, 3 days before a baseball jamboree, our season was shut down. In July, football season was moved to a Feb. start. Today it was announced that football has been moved to March. We all need to #MaskUp so that it is #Safe2Play all of our sports in 2021. I'll do my part.

Can’t help but notice that out of the final 4 teams in 2A & 1A, Lakewood was 3-1 record against them but didn’t get a chance to compete in a playin game. There are other schools in the NWC 1A & 2A that were good enough to win a game or two at state also. Let us compete like 3A/4A

Interesting look at what states are playing HS football and were able to include playoffs. There have been some games cancelled along the way but that shows safety plans at work. In most cases 90%+ of the games were played. Still not a single case of on field covid spread

Congrats to LC. Truly sorry for NV, 1 of the top teams in 1A & legit state title contender. 1 league loss could mean they won’t qualify for state playoffs since NWC-1A only gets 1 team in. The playoff allocation system is not fair & equitable. Need week 10 round of 32 like 3A/4A
