The WIAA Executive Board took action during today's meeting to delay the start of the fall season until September 5th for football and September 7th for all other fall sports.

"I want to make sure everybody understands...even though we are not playing fall sports now, we fully plan to play fall sports at the end of February."
"Our schools follow the rules. They have strong mitigation programs. We missed an opportunity in the fall. We want to make sure that the guidelines given to us provide us the opportunity to allow students to play this spring."
