Did you know that Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" was first performed on the 12th February in 1924? Our Lower School orchestra started rehearsing it on the same day in 2022! Shia is doing an amazing job of the iconic clarinet solo that starts it off, we can't for the concert! 👏

We're on a mission to bring back the recorder. There's been a drop in the number of recorder players but one of our students, Anna, hopes to save the instrument... She will be the first recorder soloist to perform with the Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra @BridgewaterHall this July!
