Personally and professionally, I can’t say enough about the incredible 2+ years I’ve had working for

Under his leadership, we have overhauled Ontario’s curriculum to better prepare Ontario’s nearly two million students for the jobs of the future. 🧵:
As for my next steps, I’m so excited to be joining Premier
@fordnation
's team as his new Press Secretary, starting tomorrow. I'm honoured and grateful to continue to have the opportunity to serve the people of Ontario with an amazing team.
First the unions claimed we never invested $1.6 billion — nor helped the hiring of 3400+ teachers & 1400+ custodians — now they claim we’re “cutting” that same $1.6 billion and those same temporary jobs they claimed never happened. 🤦🏼♀️
Workers are abandoning Andrea Horwath and the NDP.
Only
@fordnation
will get it done by re-building the economy, working for workers, building highways and key infrastructure, and keeping costs down.
Boards report to
@ONeducation
monthly. The most recent report highlighted that 95% of schools have seen an improvement to ventilation.
As of yesterday this includes over 23k HEPA filters & over 20k Portable HEPA units.
Inconvenient for your narrative, I know, but
#FactsMatter
This claim by Minister that 95% of schools saw improvements to ventilation..... it’s soooo untrue.
There is absolutely no way that it true in any respect. Nor is it true that nurses are in our schools.
Ask parents, teachers, custodians.
The Minister is lying to Ontarians.
NEW: Students across Ontario will have access to free menstrual products in school this fall.
The Ford government partnered with Shoppers Drug Mart to give students equitable access to the essential hygiene item.
#onpoli
95% of schools in Ontario have reported improvements to their ventilation systems, including over 20k HEPA filters and 2,000+ ventilation devices.
Over 3,000 teachers have been hired to reduce class sizes.
The Ford govt hasn’t invested in proper ventilation or to reduce class sizes so students & educators can physically distance
As cases surge & Ford continues to do nothing to protect schools, it’s hard to see when they are safe to open, say health experts
Thank you to SMART LOCAL 285 for their endorsement of
@fordnation
and the
@OntarioPCParty

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I regretfully advise that OPP Sgt. Eric Mueller has been killed in the line of duty. We anxiously await for further word on his fellow officers who are still at hospital. Our thoughts are with the officers, their families and colleagues.

It’s been a whirlwind, and my departure is bittersweet. There is too much to list, but together, we have never stopped working for the betterment of Ontario's students.
That's what Minister
@Sflecce
's focus is every day.
Boards across ON have reported 3,400+ new teachers hired & 890 more anticipated.
First, you undermine confidence in ON Chief Medical Officer of Health. Then in our nurses. Now you are suggesting our school board partners are lying to the Ministry?
1/2
I’ve been asking where these mystery hires are for months. They are misleading Ontarians, in a pandemic.
Parents, students, education workers know these custodians & nurses aren’t in our schools.
Ontarians deserve so much better.

“Ontario has been one of the most cautious provinces in the country when it comes to schools during the pandemic.”
We will continue to be guided by public health advice to keep schools safe.
In fact — you said air ventilation improvements weren’t done in schools, yet TDSB and others came out and corrected that this week.
Stop misleading Ontarians.

Ontario has a

And it all starts with keeping kids in class.”
Amazing times at the legion tonight! Loved when a member came in, with a highlighted newspaper clipping of the budget to the President about how great it was and President Bert said “why are you showing me, Lisa’s right there”. Haha. He was speechless and thankful!
Good to be back at my home legion, branch 641 in Barrhaven to chat with my comrades abut our budget and expanding Ontario’s Soldiers Aid Commission. Tom Lamb and one of our founding presidents Ernie Hughes are good barometers for what’s really going on out there.
