MI has been one of the worst of all 50 states in ethics, financial disclosure & transparency. We can & must do so much better. Transparency & disclosure should be a given for those in public service. I was vocal about this in 4 yrs on county commission. My view hasn’t changed.

@JudiciaryGOP PPP loans. Wall Street 2008. Btw I did take out student loans; also worked 3 jobs to pay rest of my college costs. Just paid off last loan in 2021 over a decade after graduating. I fully support unleashing the economic potential for millions of younger & not so young borrowers.

Thinking of all the pundits who smugly predicted by mid summer ‘22 that we’d all have a good cry about SCOTUS stripping away our right to bodily autonomy then “move on” to whatever said pundits *thought* we should care about. Rs will continue to rue the day they overturned Roe.

Read a devastating article interviewing 4 of my #MSU student constituents today. The hopelessness was palpable. I think about their experience of politicians’ lack of courage their entire lives… We may fear losing a seat. They fear being gunned down. Time to STOP failing them!!
