A guy who eats a lot and talks a ton about restaurants, with heavier emphasis on Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell, Peachtree Corners, Milton and environs.
@johniadarola
Twitter is God's gift to philosophy teachers in demonstrating logical fallacies. I highly doubt there will be or ever was a more quintessential straw man argument ever made. That fact you probably believe your own pablum personifies why our world is so effed up.
@ClayTravis
Not how science works. Itโs to prevent you from having a serious illness or dying from Covid. Itโs possible Iโve had Covid several times and didnโt know it because Iโm not tested on a regular basis. Iโve had three shots. Thatโs how science works.
@NewsPolitics
When a guy's full-time job is to discredit the competition and the competition's ratings keep going through the roof, it shouldn't be good for job security.
@ChefGruel
Can't deny we went to a highly rated Thai place in Tampa. Wife got like brown pepper leek chicken. She said no leeks, no pepper, no something else. I said how was it? She said, "Good, just a little bland." I'm like you literally told them to make it as bland AF.
@greggutfeld
Unlike 90% of America, which had its mind made up the second the accusations came out, I am neither convinced of his innocence nor guilt. But the fact 50% of US was a mob who felt he was not entitled to a presumption of innocence because he's not like them is frightening.
@dustinhines
@greggutfeld
Presumption of innocence is a principle that our laws are based on. If you think such human dignity is limited to our courtrooms, that's on you. He acted like a man who was entitled to respond to the allegations, just like any American would want for themselves just not others.
@BridgetPhetasy
A healthcare worker who isnโt vaccinated is like a sushi chef who doesnโt wash his hands after taking a massive messy dump, wiping with cheap industrial toilet paper.
@DanPriceSeattle
Yawn. Though haven't worked for the man for a long time, always found people who bitch the most about being underpaid were the laziest people I worked with...and of course the ones who always wanted to know what I was making.
Lady on Nextdoor needs a babysitter "daily" but "can only pay $50 per week." Um, good luck on that. I'm sure plenty of people who could pass a background check will jump on that.
Jerusalem Bakery is so damn good. I mean from entrees to splendid sandwiches, in no small part to how fantastic pita bread is. Meat pie and chicken shawarma pictured, but there is nothing I know of to avoid on the menu.
As a food nerd, yeah I take pride in being able to tell ya I told you about a place before they were famous. Humblebrag, I have an impressive list but I ain't done! Just another time stamp to prove I was telling yuze about Secret Pint before he started making national lists.
@dustinhines
@greggutfeld
I don't recall elected pols nor powerful members of the media saying the "lock her up" people "need to be believed." Nope, not even on Fox and I get my news from many sources. Her presumption of innocence has been given. So you made my point even better than I did.
A blowhard on social media essentially says the only metro Atlanta restaurant worth a shizzle is Carlo's Pizza in East Cobb. I called his bluff. Better than average NY style pizza, very good cannolis. Now way in hell best NY pizza in metro though. Good for the hood in Marietta
@dbongino
Ironic and true like when Breitbart trolls CNNโ laughable ratings for being hyper partisan. One could agree with the accuracy and laugh at the irony.

Finally went to Heirloom, now been to every consensus top 15-25ish barbecue place in metro.
Nobody can top Keenanโs BBQ for brisket. Heirloom top 6-10 for brisket, very, very high with pork. Turkey a bit dry, but good. Bottom line, yes it does deserve to be on the best of lists.
More Duluth love. A 3rd reason to adore City Farmers Market Food Court, Pleasant Hill is Picasso Chicken. Wife and I agree, do not sleep on fried rice side with rotisserie chix. With sundry Latin and Asian options, this may be THE best food court/hall in metro. Not done research.
I'm sure she's a great comedian too but

Sorry, I tell it like it is, but to be fair and balanced, they haven't been open long. Santorini's Greek, new place in JC. Cold, dry, low quality meat. I know prices are going up everywhere, but those 2 slivers of potatoes were $3.50 extra. Worst meal since Rasa Sayang a year ago
Biting my fingers. I've actually seen a guy on a restaurant group call himself "a steak aficionado" then complain how his medium-well steak was under-cooked. Reminds me of Fred Sanford calling himself a wine connoisseur while drinking Ripple.
Prolly been to EVERY credible top 15ish, 25ish BBQ place in metro Atlanta, except Heirloom. That dereliction of duty ends today. Fair and balanced report coming within 24 hours. Developing...

As the like four-percent of Americans who has gone back and forth led only by the facts and nothing but the facts, I see no relevance to this other than the politics of personal destruction favored by the left. Stooping the their level serves what purpose?
Once in a while I say controversial shit. This is one of those times. Karen Carpender is the best female vocalist of all time and Freddy Mercury is the best male vocalist.

I wondered from the beginning if somebody went on Shark Tank and said they had an idea to charge people a monthly fee and their main target audience is people who want more free things from the government, how well it would go over. Seems like some holes could be poked into it.

I may like the old fashioneds too.
All-around very good place for American cuisine.
The Wurst Beer Hall on Ponce from Shaun Doty is pretty damn good. You canโt go wrong with Patakโs sausage, and we pounded that platter. Chicken schnitzel our favorite with the closing of Nur. Could be our second favorite fries behind Fredโs.

As someone whose life is spent at the computer making money, I can tell you that typing was one of the most valuable courses I took in high school. Strangely enough, I now humbly admit, so was algebra.
First time to Brickstore Pub in a few years. Pierogies flat out stole the show, but all the food is quite good. Of course I had a Belgian. What kind of filthy animal do you think I am? But Elon only allows four pics I think so I destroyed the evidence. It's on Decatur Square.

Interesting how she had time to research and hire the "best defamation law firm in the country," and write a prepared rant but to answer questions would take too much time, she says before answering reporters questions.
As a native of the Phillyburbs, I do NOT require a cheesesteak to be Philly โauthenticโ unless they make such a claim on menu. Luckyโs Burger and Brew has one thatโs 78.23 authentic and pretty dern good. Top 5 fairly-much-a-legit cheesesteak Iโve had.

Progs say a lot of things that make no sense, but I've yet to hear one say anything resembling โif confiscating all guns saves just one life it will be worth it.โ That's CNN next level straw man fallacy.
Bronx Bagel Buggy, which puts out some of the best bagels in town, kettle boiled of course, at some farmers markets, will be opening a brick and mortar in Chamblee. This is yuuuuuuuge.
Will post more deets on Insta shortly, but Best Sandwich Shop on Ponce, near John Lewis Freedom Parkway is def legit. Shaun Doty has a winner. Great tip from

I was asked to sit on this until ink dried but it's official: Savory Gourmet, hands down the best NY deli in metro, will be opening a second location on Canton Street in the house that was like a cat vet, near Norcross Street. This will be stolen as an

Second trip and Amigo's making strong push for my fave Tex-Mex. Lobster soup (kinda like bisque) was very good. Molcajete pretty impressive too. Johns Creek has more than just fantastic Asian food.
Bobby G's in Alpharetta is a rare sports bar with good food, rare place to get a good Italian beef, and rare place to get deep dish pizza (solid, not great). Nice TV setup too
RIP to Mike Reeves, long-time Atlanta F&B guy who owned (inc as a partner) a lot of my memories of my single years in Atlanta: Smith's Olde Bar, Cotton Club...and Fox Brothers, which explains why Smith's hosted barbecue night weekly when Fox was known only to hardcore BBQ hounds
I'm both exercising and eating healthier, but I can't give up great food. Chocolate taco at Cherried Mary's. This month, it's hazelnut ice cream inside. Again gurrl, from two chefs who met in the kitchen working for Ford Fry. It's all homemade. They know what they're doing
Not sure what's happening three hours after midnight, but just in case, I'm going to stop by the bar at 3 AM to seek solace in a bottle or possibly a friend.
Whew, things went very well for wife with medical procedure, so my old dudes and I will see y'all at Alive After 5 after all. 6:30ish we may get there. Gonna be hot. Drink beer. Maybe water too.

Magically both sides are now for travel bans and neither side is for shutting down the economy. That's a huge switch from 2020.
I can't put my finger on what caused this epiphany for 48 percent of Americans.
Went to Target last night and CFA earlier this week. Pissing off bullies on both extremes is how I roll. I donโt do economic blackmail. If Bud didnโt put out such an atrocious product, Iโd drink that too.

's been raving about French dip for years, went with that. Dip worthy of next infallible best sandwich list. 28 yrs later confirmed it's my fave sit-down chain.
You can debate Atlanta has more Michelin star worthy restaurants, maybe. But Duluth slays all with bib gourmand joints. Mostro Burger, Peruvian food stall inside Pleasant Hill City Farmers Market...add to the long list of killer grubber places in that town. Hidden gem, blah,blah
@BluProductions
@johniadarola
I mean impossible to lose an argument when you are arguing only with yourself. It's like cheating at solitaire. But that's how fringe idealogues on both extremes roll.
Pho Tai, located you know where in Duluth, less vermicelli than most pho places, but also a rhyme for their reason or is it reason for...anyway, broth really stood out big time. Eager to try beef pho and see if it's just as good. Pictured shrimp, excellent, especially broth.

False Bobby. Free market will give everyone the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty. It's not a magic wand. Work ethic is the missing ingredient. It always will be.

Already knew Secret Pint BBQ put out legendary sausage as he supplied Sockโs Love (of course a big Duffy fave) with such. Several trustworthy advisors said I must try his other meats now that he expanded to a popup. It lived up to hype sis. If you are BBQ hound, it's a must go.
If the food is good, I give bonus points for original concoctions and the Helen's solidarity at The Breakfast Club in Tybee Island fits the bill. House made sausage, Monterrey Jack and American cheeses, diced potatoes, veggies, plus grits. Def would return.
At the time I wrote this, wasn't sure if I was going third party again or Joey. Look forward to an election locally, statewide, or national in which I don't have to hold my nose in the booth. A lot of that last many years. Will do that while I vote for Joey Biden this November.
Solid meal at Joey D's Oak Room. My first ever trip, believe it or not. We went in no small part due to good reports on the Caesar salad, my wife's beloved item. Good salad, not our fave. More deets in the Insta for the full report.
Mostly, but not exclusively college related, I've gotten to take at least one solo trip with each of my three kids. Have to say, they've been some of the most enjoyable times of my entire 23-plus years on this earth.
