Riot police are on my campus, shoving, dragging, cuffing, and arresting my classmates for peacefully protesting. I don't agree with every chant, sign, or chalked message but these students were fighting for justice, leading with nonviolence. It is heartbreaking to watch.

Belmont's parking minimums discourage biking & walking making our town less healthy. Developers should be able to build bike racks to cover a portion of their vehicle storage minimum. Save space, save the environment, and support healthy transit modes!

Friendly reminder that the municipal preliminaries happening on September 5th means that anyone who moves into their college dorm or changes address after their lease ends at the end of August will struggle to vote in those elections. We need same day registration now!

Finally checked this, Question 1, the fair share amendment, passed by just 7 votes in my precinct (Belmont Pct. 8). Knocking on doors I hit almost 10 times that number in the precinct (+ another 1k statewide). Kinda cool to know that I could have flipped a precinct...
