Last year on @business I spoke about Netflix's 3rd quarter earnings which at the time, was their lowest earnings for their 3rd quarter in the last 5-6 years. I believe it was because Netflix was not doing anything different. To learn more, watch here:

Bport infrastructure is underrated and the community deserves some investment. It will be a great win for all of CT!

@CoachLavonya Don’t let that ruin your trip. Of all the black founders I know that raised at least $5MM of venture capital up to those w/ 9 figure exists (including my own) only 1 raised their money in Silicon Valley. East coast and LA far from perfect, but more inclusive than the valley 🤷🏿‍♂️

Reading VC threads makes me think some #VentureCapital firms and their partners (regardless of age) are like aging MLB sluggers. They’re not that useful in the field and strike out often, but they are worth keeping around because they occasionally hit massive home runs.

@tkawaja 90% of 2010-15 adtech startups were BS too. But for 10% of us worked out pretty damn well. I just made 2 crypto angel investments after turning down or not entertaining dozens. I don’t think I’d even seed invest in a new adtech startup that isn’t a blockchain based strategy 🤷🏿‍♂️

@briannekimmel Would love to have lived is this fairytale land of just finding 2-3 smart people and raising a $3 - $6M seed round 🤣. Every black founder I know including myself with a 9 figure+ exit only raised a $250k - $1.5MM seed round. $1M check from @a16z would have been great in 2014 🤷🏿‍♂️
