Pavlova done. All fruit grown by us here. Apparently a pav this size will feed 12 Aussies or 1 to 2 Kiwis.....we have 1 Kiwi coming for lunch tomorrow.....we better not eat too much today as Red reckons he has a degree in Pavlova eating......🤣🤣

We have been quite busy lately...only finished lining yesterday and today first coat of linseed oil onto the freshly clad walls....looks great considering we used stored bits and pieces of timber...tas oak, sassafras, celerytop pine and myrtle + meranti.

@bugwannostra If you have any condition that is permanent they refuse to accept your medical certificate. You apply for DSP and they reject that...catch 22 situation here. At 65 you go....whatever....can't work, physically stuffed from heavy labouring many years...tired of broken system!

Supermarkets and price gouging.... @woolworths whole cauliflower this week $7.90 each. Southern Tas green grocer Tas grown whole cauliflower this week $3.90 each.

@luvmygoose I had 2 MRIs in recent years...2018 and 2020....zero cost. This @ScottMorrisonMP LNP Government has gutted Medicare and caused unnecessary costs for all Australians.

@Bababooie42 I remember the CES well. They gave me a plane ticket in 1980 to come pick apples in the Huon Valley Tas from Melbourne. I picked 7 seasons in a row after that. They gave me a bus ticket from Gympie Qld to Mildura Vic to pick grapes in the late 80s as well.
