My next door neighbour died last night. His wife spent most the day begging to be allowed to go and say goodbye to him in hospital. She was eventually allowed to go and hold his hands for a few minutes then asked to leave. He died less than an hour later. #COVID19 💔

My photo is often used to promote events. I see school websites with strategically placed images of their Black pupils & staff. It doesn’t mean you’re inclusive, it simply means there’s a black or brown person in your setting. Don’t use our images unless you are antiracist

@crisis_uk Ridiculous. So we could support homeless people but we’ll fund legal costs instead, fine them for being homeless only to ‘discover’ they dont have money to pay the fine so we criminalise them and fund a prison sentence. And then what? They come out to a job and home?

If you’re teaching about slavery for #BlackHistoryMonth you need to understand it’s the history of White People not Black People. Slavery was dictated to us. It’s the White story of greed, capitalism, inhumanity, racism, religion. It’s not from us. It’s not our history

I went to a friend’s funeral on Monday. She was the kindest, gentlest person I knew who gave her everything to school & community. I’m heartbroken. She’s my 3rd colleague to die prematurely since xmas. They all thought they had time to make dreams happen #WellbeingWednesday
