I'm shocked at
@jonhaidt
's take on that. It is actually scary that someone can watch something that seems this clear and have such a different understand than I do.
@TPAca
It is not up to the Police Association. I want to hear from the Chief. WTF is this . . .Can I threaten to bomb a place and then not be charged because the owner chooses not to pursue the matter? Did they not pursue because they were intimidated???? Come on
@atRachelGilmore
Your position is bigoted. You're generalizing that parents are a danger to their own children. Furthermore teachers are not psychiatrists or psychologists and should not be deciding whether children are best served by allowing them a different gender identity at school.
@CBCNews
If you are paying 46K in tuition and hungry you have or had a choice. That education shouldn't come at a cost to people who are without choice.
@RealAndyLeeShow
Credit where credit is due.
@RealAndyLeeshow
was on the problems with how the ArriveCan app was developed for months before this was picked up by the main stream media. 👍👍👍
@Martyupnorth_2
And diesel 21.39 cents. Do you think this makes transport companies try harder to improve fuel efficiency? Trust me when I say they are already doing everything they can to be efficient. Anything they save goes to the bottom line.
@ConceptualJames
My wife is disabled. When we are out I have to help her in the washroom. Nobody has questioned me yet for being in the woman's washroom. I think people are pretty tolerant.
@wil_da_beast630
From outside the country it looked as if the story was already written and just awaiting the next "victim". Then having chosen poorly Floyd had to be elevated into some sort of saint. Testimony with the chief... From this angle it appears the officers knee is not pressing on
@SeamusORegan
Your party didn't care when Quebec used the not withstanding clause against the Anglophone minority. Now you choose to stand up to prevent a heinous criminal from being sentenced to life in prison without parole? This doesn't sound as if you are acting from principal.
@rupasubramanya
There is also the whole flags at half mast Indian Residential School debacle. Some might equate what he did as stochastic terrorism resulting in the burning of churches. At the very least we seem to have moved further away from truth as well as further away from reconciliation.
@timabray
Na. Fair bit of ping pong there with an actual answer to the question rather than the Liberal tactic of a prepared statement about something totally unrelated.
@RealAndyLeeShow
From what's available I think they spent 1,342,104 on charitable programs most of which they call external research as shown in box 4920 of their T3010. My guess is that this is through various universities for the expert panels they use shown in their annual report.
@sunlorrie
This makes me ill. The government can invoke the emergency measures act without cause. Our national news agency can demonize Canadians without real evidence. Now . .. whoops . . . sorry . . . never mind us . . . carry on.
@CTVNews
Do the math. It works out to $2.56 per meal and you know a good bit will go to administration. It isn't going to be as pretty as the picture you are painting.
@GeorgeTakei
You missed the part of the video just before this where your favourite PM says to this student:
"Mostly Christian . . . so you don't think we should be supporting Muslims?"
Nice bit of bigotry on Trudeau's part there. But let's not notice this.
@nationalpost
I couldn't disagree more with this ruling. "Deemed illegal" in this case is not law and should not extend beyond the workplace to what was a private transaction.
@maxfawcett
Your sin of omission is that a report by the Parliamentary Budget Officer says most families will pay more under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's carbon tax than they receive in rebates.
I'd also question whether what families do with the carbon rebate is carbon neutral.
@RealAndyLeeShow
It looks like this took place at the HQ for the provincial NDP candidate for Brampton West Navjit Kaur. Seems a lot of folk feel let down by his aligning with Trudeau.
@jordanbpeterson
The statements about consensus and human caused are plopped into the middle of news stories without much thought or backup so far as I can see.
@MatthewWielicki
shared this.
@Martyupnorth_2
Singh is all in on this. After harping on it so long he probably feels he can't back down even if he finally realizes how wrong he is. Worse yet his suggestions for fixing things lead to Cuba like conditions. Double plus not good. Unfortunately his core supporters remain.
@cafreeland
You have no idea the hole you and your party have dug. February housing starts were pretty good. 1,700 better than last year. If this keeps up we will be building 20,000 more houses in 2024. You are bringing in 700,00 a year more people than the 40 years prior to your
@jonkay
@AbigailShrier
With one in five girls/women detransitioning, the situation at Stonewall in the UK, suits against clinics and doctors... the CBC would still have us join in denying that there is an issue with social contagion as Abigail Shrier discusses in her book? This is just wrong.
@MrsDrBee
@cancersociety
The Cancer Society of Canada explains far far far better on their website. Let's not jump to conclusions. They do a lot of good work.
@acoyne
When you only have a hammer everything looks like a nail. The carbon tax is lazy and has unintended consequences reducing Canada's competitiveness.
@Martyupnorth_2
And you, at least for the most part, left childhood as a fully functioning adult. We have a heck of a lot of people well over 30 who are basically still children because they never learned the lessons from some of those risks we took as kids.
@jonkay
@OSSTFD20TEACHER
Parents take for granted that administration and unions are looking out for the best interests of kids.
Time to pay attention.
@ctvqp
@MelissaLantsman
Liberal dirty tricks that worked too well.
- There was already a free trade deal with Ukraine
- The new deal was mostly about adding the carbon tax text.
- Used the new carbon tax text on Ukraine deal first because with the war they could make that deal seem important by adding
@rupasubramanya
We live in silos never really seeing what other groups are up to. Add to this that saying something, if we manage to notice, is inviting the charge of racism or colonialism.
@sunlorrie
Sunny ways and transparent government Trudeau style.
I don't think I've witnessed such cold hearted disrespect by a government in power to the Canadian people. What a great thing for them to have the NDP firmly tucked into their pocket.
Face it. They never had a case.
@davidfrum
But there are steps to go through first.
1) I wasn't even in town that day
2) I was in town but I don't know that guy and have never been on that street
3) I might know that guy
4) I do know that guy but I never meant to hurt him
5) I don't own a gun
6) My gun wasn't loaded
@maxfawcett
Without any research quoted I'm kinda doubtful of what you are saying here.
- We know forest fire incidents and area burned has been decreasing . . . 1980-2020
- Precipitation has been increasing
- Canada is gaining arable land - up to 4.2 million square kilometers according to
@cafreeland
Just for a reasonability check . . . and I don't know the answer . . . has a minority Liberal government ever voted in support of a Conservative federal budget?
@AnnRolle_
Caught being a jerk and exacerbating the situation by smearing the officer involved with allegations of racism. Way to go Marci. TO police need to get bodycams asap.
@bruce_arthur
The carbon tax is lazy and has unintended consequences reducing Canada's competitiveness. I would prefer a more targeted "carrot" approach rather than this crude "stick".
@K4C
Did the Pope of Woke, Crown Prince of the WEF, Keeper of the snake oil, Guardian of the boxed water, Knight of the order of the beef Wellington, suggest that she pray on the issue?
@JohnLeePettim13
People keep saying "But it takes concrete to build a nuclear reactor too."
It takes as much concrete to build a nuclear reactor as it takes to build 200 wind mills.
@brianlilley
For your next article please repeat after me - "Our current levels of immigration are breathtakingly criminally stupid."
Let's say that our housing starts for 2021-2023 have been 240K per year. We have a shortfall of 3.5M we want to address in 5 years which is 700K per year.
@Kathleen_Wynne
The hilarious thing is that I believe that Doug Ford is in 100% agreement with you. He clearly thinks that NDP and Liberals would attempt to appoint judges with a woke bias.
@AnnRolle_
As I said to someone else this morning: Have another go at it when he has the taxpayer foot the bill for building a second mansion on the property for his estranged wife. Otherwise this is just whataboutism.
@jordanbpeterson
@timand2037
The Russians had signed a non-aggression pact with Germany. Only after Germany decided to invade Russia did the Russians join with the allies. I don't think the Russians gave a flying f about the Jews.
Things didn't go very well for Jews in Russia after WWII under Stalin.
@zookeepermc
@atRachelGilmore
Also some teachers are a danger. And parents have no way of knowing which are. We have laws for these events/situations. There are also risks to the parents not knowing what is happening with their children. If I'm going to pick and choose I'll side with the parents.
@rupasubramanya
In this era of the internet the raison d'être for the CBC no longer exists. We should have been gently phasing out public support for the last decade. Let's start now.
@liberal_party
You messed up so big that what should be a provincial issue is now a problem across the whole country and becomes a federal issue. Well done.
@pablorodriguez
@PascaleStOnge_
"Criticized"??? With the ability to comprehend a situation as evidenced here I understand how a department for which you had responsibility hired and paid an antisemite to work as a anti-racism trainer.
@BobRae48
I disagree. I can't think of any situation that can't be addressed by selecting eligible people by economic, geographic, age, health, or other non racial criteria. I don't think fighting racism with more racism will work for Canadians.
