If schools and kids had been this government’s priority, all education workers would be vaccinated, schools would have the extra staff and resources necessary, tracking and testing would have given us better data. These conditions are not in place.
Don’t plant trees. Cut library funding. Cut public health funding. How can breathing, reading and preventing illness NOT be government priorities?

government use that time to get vaccinations and boosters into the arms of all school staff and eligible students?? Will this Premier finally make children a priority??
The Red Cross wasn’t just going to vaccinate. They were going to contact trace and provided much needed support to hospitals. Doug Ford‘s decision will kill people. He has to go.
Thank you, Ontario, for allowing me to be your Premier for the past 5 years. This has been the greatest privilege of my life. Please know that every day I have been your Premier, and a minister and an MPP, that I have worked to think about your needs.
I was upset to read how Ron Joyce Jr – whose family sold Tim Horton’s for billions of dollars – is treating his employees in response to the minimum wage. If he wants wants to pick a fight I urge him to leave his employees out of it. I’m right here.
Shocked that Doug Ford's PC Party would pass such a hateful resolution. It is dangerous, reckless and irresponsible for a political party to endorse discrimination and tell people that how they identify themselves is not real.

I was in Grade 4 when Bill Davis became Minister of Education. The Ontario I grew up in was fashioned by his deep belief in public education and service to others. When I was Premier he would reach out. Such a privilege to have known him.
This is a cowardly act of hatred, and it has no place in Ontario. This does not represent who we are. We must stand firm in our support of this young girl who was assaulted simply for wearing a hijab.
Under our Free Tuition plan there was was a 36% increase in Indigenous students, 20% increase in low income, 33% increase in mature students 24% increase in middle income. We were increasing access to college and university. Ford’s government is restricting access.

signs the deal that could have been signed months ago. Families have lost money that could have been saved if this provincial government had not dragged its feet. The federal government persevered.
All day I’ve been thinking of the pain and sorrow Muslims in New Zealand and around the world are suffering. Islamophobia is evil hatred that every human being should condemn. We all grieve these lives lost in innocent prayer.
It's a difficult and brave thing to do to come forward in the way these young women have done tonight. My government and I have been clear on the issue of sexual harassment and assault. In fact our policy and our ad were called "It's Never Okay".
We did it. Today, we passed a law to officially raise the minimum wage to $14 an hour on Jan 1, 2018 and $15 by Jan 1, 2019. This is why I’m in politics — because I know we can build a fairer, better Ontario for everyone. The fight for $15 isn't over, but today was a big step.
This Deco lawsuit is both sad and distressing. It's sad because it draws in family. It's distressing because this is the kind of thing we will get daily from Doug Ford as premier. Chaos and confusion. It's not what Ontario needs.
Such a colossal waste of time—all those years when renewable projects could have been built. And all because
