I guess we said goodbye to Mom today. Her body has forgotten how to swallow, and her advance directive says no feeding tubes. So now we watch her starve. Her doc said not to be horrified, it’s not like she KNOWS she’s starving to death. Ima go ahead and be horrified anyway.
