I need to just let go of comparing myself to who I was pre COVID. COVID shattered me. One ex: I’m not organized anymore, I’m all over the place. And after two years, I’m trying to get back there. But maybe I won’t. Can’t. Bc I’m changed. That’s ok. Need to accept who I am now.

Friendly reminder, abortion shouldn’t be stigmatized. I had an abortion in college. My life would be very diff if I didn’t. I had an abortion (D&C) for a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks while in grad school. I would have died if I didn’t. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk

I may be odd but I enjoy grant writing when I’m in the early & middle stages of projects, even when I don’t get funded. It forces me to think of the weeds (details) for early projects & forces me out of the weeds to broader significance when in the middle-ish stage of a project.

People should not have to tell their abortion stories (I have one) nor paint pictures of dire situations in order to convince ppl to support pro-choice, pro-reproductive rights and the right to have an abortion. Doesn’t matter the reason. Don’t tell us what to do with our bodies

Controversial thought: confidentially is often invoked to protect ppl in power from accountability because it keeps others from knowing what’s going on and is used to silence ppl who want to raise concerns. This is applicable for wide range of situations, from tenure & hiring etc
