You guys!! Kai is now 18.3 inches long and approaching 6 pounds!! He got his two month vaccinations today and handled it like a boss. And we took two two-hour naps. He got drunk off breast milk, and I snacked on chips and queso. We are both happy. ❤️

As for me...literally ran 11.74 ONCE in high school. Had a 4.3GPA...went to University of Tennessee-full ride. Ran 11.40 my freshman year. World champ sophomore year. Nine medals later... 100: 10.78 200: 22.37 Long Jump: 7.17 (23’ 6 1/2”) KEEP YOUR GRADES UP/WORK YOUR ASS OFF.

Kai’s original due date was yesterday. 40 weeks! He’s closing in on 9 pounds. I’m back in school. Raising a little human, trying to remember to eat and hydrate and exercise (and kind of failing) trying to get back to yoga, training, and writing. But for now…this is everything.

Welp…Kai was put on a diet today. 🤪 He now has ONE less calorie to look forward to per feeding. On day one NICU doctors gave me and Killa Kai a big assignment: to GROW. Born at 2lbs 9oz 6 weeks & 4 days ago…we weighed in at 5lbs 6oz today. Mission Accomplished. 💪🏾 💛

My 36 week (9 week old) nearly 7 pound baby. I’m so proud of this kid. Every single day. Just doing him. He “talks” a lot. He has strong opinions, and he also likes to smile & give side eye. He takes a bottle from everyone but me. He’s like “you’re the one with the boob stop it”

More progress! 🔑: Consistent discipline. Six meals and 4-5 liters of water a day. I say no A LOT. No alcohol, no sugar, no salt. My training has NOT changed. We “uncovered” this body. Kind of like creating a sculpture out of a block of marble. 10lbs/2 month difference btwn pics.

I have finally figured out what to do with all of these unused travel kits from my overseas flights! Taking them to the People’s Park. They each have a toothbrush and toothpaste, mouthwash, socks, and lotion. Don’t know why this didn’t occur to me before!
