I’ve run a ton of races. I’ve gone to many finals, but today is different. Today I race for W O M E N. Because we all have to overcome. So, here’s to strong women everywhere. Let’s never forget our worth & always know our value. We are more than enough. Never stop fighting💪🏾
As of June 2023…3 of the 4 members of Team USA’s 4x100m relay team…who ran the SECOND fastest time in history, and brought home THEE gold medal…have nearly died or did die in childbirth.
We deserve better.

I think you should watch this ad. It reminds mothers that they are athletes. It celebrates mothers. It speaks truth. It’s powerful. It’s brilliant marketing. I agree with every word in this ad. I also think you should watch this ad so that you will hold Nike accountable for it.
”It's amazing how quickly your priorities change in moments like this. At that point, the only thing I cared about was that my daughter, Camryn, was OK. I didn't care if I ever ran track again.”
my greatest love👶🏾💛
Our voices have power. NIKE has contractually provided maternal protection to the female athletes they sponsor. I’m grateful to NIKE leadership for believing that we are all more than athletes. THANK YOU to the brands who have already made this commitment. Who is next?
Every time I see this race it’s a reminder to keep fighting & never quit.
The year we each experienced leading up to this moment was unbelievable. The adversity we had to overcome was unreal. A

8 months ago this was my world. it’s been a tough road. i’m far from my best, but grateful for this opportunity & most importantly our health.
This is the incredible moment six-time Olympic champion Allyson Felix won the Women's 150m sprint at the Great North City Games in Stockton.
She gave birth just nine months ago.
Racing this weekend was much bigger than me. About so much more than my story. In the face of obstacles it’s so important to never give up. Reminded of that this past year more than ever. Grateful for my health. Thankful for my family. Humbled & appreciative of all the support🙏🏾
pregnancy in sports shouldn’t feel risky. but the reality is that it is. it’s scary to tell an employer you are starting a family & not know if you will be supported. i know a lot of women can relate no matter what field you are in. i want better for my own daughter. 📷

So humbled and honored that
@USC
would honor me in this way. It means so much to me that they have celebrated not only my athletic accomplishments but my efforts to create change.

every big goal has to start somewhere. a plan to get there must be executed. that’s where I am today. preparation to make my dream reality. one small step at a time.💪🏾
Queen👸🏾 The greatest to ever do it, but to me you are a mentor and friend! Always here for me in all of the ways. Thank you for making it possible for me🙏🏾
i didn’t win these medals alone. only by the grace of God. a collective effort from those who believed in me even when my own vision was blurry. those who walked this journey with me, the devastating lows and amazing highs. unending encouragement. unconditional love.
Getting off a 13 hour flight with baby girl and receiving lots of “your baby was an angel” and “didn’t even know there was a baby next to us” comments gives me life!! Haha feels like winning gold!
