Hey y’all. I wanted to share this touching book my friend wrote. Def worth a read tho I am partial to the audiobook, read by the author 🫶Suicide In Slow Motion: A Veterans Journey From Madness To Redemption
#Amazon
I passed the CISSP. It was a journey 🫣but what is most exciting is the future it holds and validation of the redirection i took when everything around me got dumpstered. 🫶

Girl. My mama was a single mom on a teachers salary. It wasn’t until we had gone $50k in before I said enough and had implants done. I’m the one who sent the pic the day before surgery ;) bad teeth can just be hereditary. It took 30 years before a dentist finally just said it.
Holy fuck. Most awkward recruiting call for pen testing contract. My dude was like “Wow. I’ve been on the phone for the last 6 hours working placement and you are the First Lady I’ve spoken to. Why aren’t women INTO PENETRATION?” I just left that one hanging in dead air 😱😉
Am I ready for my first DEF CON talk?! Today @ 2:00 PST

Ever get physical access but realize you forgot your badUSBs? Or just need a stealthy way to sneak them into a building?
We got you.
BadUSB Earrings are now fully functional!
Chemo didn’t work. She’s stopping treatment. We are using this as time to recover from the harm the drugs caused & are trying to frame it as a “license to live” rather than a death sentence. My Mom is my world & I appreciate the love Twitter frens showed us. ❤️🩹
Anyone know people in this org personally? I have something that might be helpful to them but need to get a response during what I’m sure is a tumultuous time. DMs open / frens pls amplify & retweet!!!
After more than a decade of empowering diverse women to excel in technology careers, we are announcing the difficult decision to close Women Who Code. So much has been accomplished, but our mission is not complete.

It's misogyny.
We very rarely receive criticism (directly) at us - rather it is whispered behind closed doors.
We have in some cases posted nearly identical commentary. We received universal praise while someone would criticize you for it.
Jesus. Someone I met at a business dinner died. It takes one time y’all. If you do drugs test them. Please please please. This woman was 2 years younger than me and just course corrected her life. :(

You know what pertains to her dress and marriage? Nothing you have to opine about silly. PS. If my ass looked like that I’d never put it away. 😆

And next time tell your friends safety in numbers. They are your friends and won’t mind. I’m sorry this happened to you. It shouldn’t have regardless of being alone. 💜
Grief is weird. I’m sure travel and tiredness aided but I was ill prepared for a woman’s shoes and a request for me to watch her bags yesterday to bring on sobs. I held it together when I replied but gd I miss my mom.
@realburgergod
I know some legit male cyber operators out there, and they aren't bitching about women sharing about their lived experiences. They are getting after it. You might try it.
So far today:
Turned off circuit breaker improperly learned after touching ground & hot
Helped dog from face full of ants after sniffing discarded banana
Burned finger pads WITH A FUCKIN POTHOLDER
Shit comes in 3.
I should be good to live wildly now right?
Dummy yummy and easy!!
4x the spices (I tripled the tarragon, added lemon fire pepper) and add a tablespoon of butter when it’s all done to get pan gravy 🤤
I never do this but I’ll take all the help I can. Send me all the positive thoughts you can spare. Finding out this morning if this round of chemo worked or nah for my mom. 🤞
This 100%. Yes that was me crawling under the buffet (in motherclucking Chanel nonetheless) to pick up the burrito bar my wild ass team decided to eject in a rush to training.
I've been asked why I am the one to mop my test labs and not one of my direct reports; after all I'm "the boss" aren't I?
It's about my philosophy of leadership: I want to lead by example and show that I won't ask my folks to do anything I am not willing to do myself.
