The #49ers shouldn’t fear playing Trey Lance down the stretch. Give him a run heavy plan w/pass plays that feature short options, like swing passes and shallow crossers. No more designed QB runs, but encourage him to scramble, and emphasize ball security. He can and will produce!

I understand your frustration, but Shanahan isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The #49ers went 7-25 in the two years before he arrived here, and under Shanahan they’ve been to the NFC Title Game in 3 of the last 4 years. They were the highest scoring offense in the NFL by over 4

I love Amy, but she’s wrong. Purdy’s processing, timing, toughness, accuracy, And feel are elite traits and she’s letting his draft position cloud her eval. Truth is, that Amy is a talented football executive, and isn’t a trained personnel evaluator. They are distinctly different

Based on what I’ve heard from Shanahan, Lynch, and York, I expect Trey Lance will be traded during the #NFLDraft2023 . My guess is he’ll be dealt to the Titans for Malik Willis and a pick swap that gives the 49ers a day 1-2 pick as well. With that pick they’ll fill a major roster

RIP Ralph Barbieri. He entertained me when I was @StIgnatius . I used to do my homework while listening to his @KNBR show. He inspired me to pursue this career. We became co-workers in 1997, and friends soon thereafter. Ralph was my professional role model and he was a kind soul.
