Texas HS sports community, I'm in need of your help.
I've been working on a segment/content idea that I'd like to bring to the 105.3 The Fan airwaves, or at the very least, the podcasting side. Before I do that, I first need some help from those in the high school sports scene…
NFL teams are 90-1 since 1991 when they win time of possession, total yards, turnovers, pick up 25 first downs, and convert at least 10 or more 3rd down attempts.
Dallas' loss to the Jets on Sunday is the one loss.
These 50 movies have the most number of IMDb user votes. It's a good working list of the 50 most common movies people have seen.
How many of the 50 have you seen?
Buccaneers are the first team in NFL history to lose the turnover margin by at least 3, incur 100 penalty yards, allow 450 yards, and still win the game.
Sure, when you watch that Jordan Davis video it's pretty terrifying, but I choose to look for silver linings.
Like reversing the video so it looks like a smaller center is literally bunny hopping Jordan Davis off the ball.
CeeDee Lamb acknowledges the Cowboys crowd after the stadium announces he's the first Cowboy in history with three straight games of 150+ yards receiving:
"If you're the Rangers, you have to worry about what happens if the Diamondbacks force this to a potential game 9. Do you have the pitching to weather that? Probably not."
Highest passer rating (minimum 60 attempts) in NFL history when the game is tied in the fourth quarter or overtime:
5. Aaron Rodgers - 105.9
4. Andrew Luck - 108.3
3. Vinny Testaverde - 108.6
2. Rich Gannon - 111.6
1. Dak Prescott - 148.3
Most game-winning drives through a player's first three seasons:
t4. Andrew Luck - 11
t4. Peyton Manning - 11
3. Russell Wilson - 12
2. Matt Ryan - 13
1. Dak Prescott - 14
Dak's last 16 games:
5449 passing yards
30 passing touchdowns
5 rushing touchdowns
6-10 record
If you blame Dak for this team's problems, you just have blind hatred for the man.
"This Diamondbacks team...they are just not. Going. To. Quit. If there's any team that could get 11 sacrifice flies and win this game, this is the team. Texas doesn't want to get into a sacrifice fly game with this team."
NFL teams are 1-73 all time when incurring 100 penalty yards, allowing three touchdown passes, and losing the turnover battle by two or more.
The one victory occurred yesterday when the Cowboys beat the Eagles.
The Cowboys are the first road team in NFL history to incur 115 penalty yards, convert less than 25% of their third down attempts, allow four touchdowns, and still win the game.
Tony Pollard wasn't at practice yesterday, despite Shady's claim that he "looks good."
It's almost like he doesn't have any clue what he's talking about.
Ok
@VoiceOfTheStar
@newyscruggs
if im not mistaken didnt he leave before practice started so how would he know how the offense and defense was looking 🤔🤔🤔
Career starts:
Byron Jones - 66
Anthony Brown - 34
Chidobe Awuzie - 28
Jourdan Lewis - 9
Career takeaways:
Jourdan Lewis - 6
Chidobe Awuzie - 4
Anthony Brown - 4
Byron Jones - 2
When Tony Pollard's carries and targets combined for 10 or more, the Cowboys were 9-1 last season.
When that number was in the single digits they were 1-5.
Cowboys were getting pretty irritated with Za'Darius Smith pulling up with injuries so frequently and coming right back in the game.
I'd love to know what the conversation was between Dak and his former Mississippi State teammate Preston Smith:
Dallas has allowed 14 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns through the first six games.
The last team to do that? Mike Nolan's 2005 San Francisco 49ers.
I hate it for a number of guys that the Cowboys lost on Sunday, but Jayron Kearse is especially high on the list. He is the heart and soul of the Cowboys defense. He played through a ton of injuries this season.
Kearse is this team's Sean Lee.
The Cowboys are the 2nd team in NFL history to incur at least 200 penalty yards, intercept zero passes, and still be undefeated through the first three weeks.
The other team? The 2008 Dallas Cowboys.
Dez Bryant, January 25 2017: "The day I'm done playing for Dallas, that's the day I'm done playing football. Period. Period."
He loved this organization more than any other player that's ever worn the star.
Had a deal in place for a 3rd last year. Fell apart when Texans wanted a 2nd. Cowboys now get Cooks for even cheaper than they initially wanted.
This is the type of trade the Cowboys sought that we discussed on
@1053thefan
.
Fantastic move for the Cowboys.
Dak Prescott is the only quarterback in NFL history to produce back-to-back regular season games of 380 yards passing, 4 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.
@BobbyBeltTX
Dak can’t hit the crossing route. The route tree Shrinks when he’s qb. He is always late on throws. It’s accuracy and Jerry keeps hinting that is the difference between Coop and Dak. Hit a receiver in stride.
