"Sonic Adventure 2" finally has cutscene modding support, and you can basically load any cutscene into Blender. You can modify stuff, but you can also just basically reshoot every cutscene if you want.

When I was 10, the first time I played MOTHER 3 was on my Wii using the world's worst GBA emulator, stretched to fit a CRT screen. I played through the entirety of the first 7 chapters of the game like this & it was a completely blind playthrough.

Cool "Metal Knuckles" model sheet from the "Sonic Superstars" artbook. It's weird since it doesn't match any of the other modern concept art in the game, instead much closer to the ones found in "Sonic Adventure" by Uekawa (who designed him). SEGA is known to keep old refs.

@CharMayCry It's coded in an obtuse way probably not for anti-piracy or anything, but to make coding & programming easier for the team (real-time patching). They did the same thing with Mario 64's HD texture on 3D All Stars, probably since they didn't have source for either.

Interesting #MOTHER3 discovery. Bronson has running sprites + pre-run sprites for all directions (only reserved for party members), suggesting he was in your party at one point. With this, @MakotoShirogan2 has been working on a hack that restores Bronson as a party member.

@breakfastfoldin They were used as subtitles, but mostly it was to provide corrections or to link stuff. Some videos even allowed users to out their own subtitles (results were usually really wild). Subtitles and cards never gave the same amount of flexibility as annotations did.

After the Pokemon Stadium team was brought over to help develop “Earthbound 64”, HAL was split in half. With one focusing on developing the game, and the other developing a Racing spin-off game planned for December 2000. This is the only screenshot to have ever surfaced. #MOTHER3
