I come to you today with sorrowful news. As of this morning, we said goodbye to our dear friend Kirby. He wasn't himself this week and we confirmed he was in renal failure, so it was just time to let him go. His life ended with him falling asleep while being pet by his family.

As of today, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is 15 years old. Such a creative interpretation of the Mario universe between its fun characters, creative new locations it took us to, and timeless art style. I just wish it got more official recognition for all it did.

Whole timeline is Scarlet Violet glitches/performance issues. I played all day, I had one time where the camera phased through the floor for two seconds and one cutscene where the background humans moved at 2fps. Besides that… nothing stood out. Have I just been insanely lucky?

I have some news to share today. Kirby has been diagnosed with end stage kidney disease, something common in cats of his old age. He is starting medication for it and will likely be around for a little longer. I am working to make him comfortable for these times.
