@ThebestFigen
this points more to the difference in the upbringing
nothing to do with having a son or a daughter
also, age is a factor
the daughter in this case is still young and probably isn’t practising any sport seriously
but yes, this works for engagement farming
PS: I have a 2yo
$1,000+ in
@glideapps
template sales.
Never imagined that my first taste of selling digital goods will involve selling something as niche as Glide Apps templates.
3 months, 28 published templates, 28 sales, buyers from 14 countries, prices ranging from $4.99 to $99.99.
@charmiekapoor
i admire him even more because he chose family over and above anything else, giving all that up in an instant
although i strongly believe that he will be back soon
Crossed INR 100,000+ today JUST from
@glideapps
templates sales.
Call it passive income, or 'build once sell twice'.
The pace has slowed (haven't published many new templates), but it is steady and it still makes me happy seeing a sale notification email from Stripe.

Amul protein lassi is going to be a lot cheaper and in line with religious beliefs.
Find alternatives, instead of attacking somebody’s beliefs, religious or anything else.
The number of apps I have made with
@glideapps
is now inching closer to 150.
The one mistake I have made is never 'showing' these apps to the world.
I will try to fix that going forward.
I (a Computer Science Engineer) had made 0 apps before I found Glide in Feb 2019.
@VeniGupta5
Some of my really good friends have gone through the same..
Gems of human beings, all of them.
So it’s not always men mistreating women.
Some times it’s the opposite.
Us as outsiders can’t pick sides because one of them is a friend.
jitni meri samajh hai in CRED jackpots ki,
anybody winning a CRED jackpot is a bug, not a feature..
so obviously they had to cancel it
i just hope the developer who forgot to rig the jackpot doesn't get fired.. :P
Even though I usually do not fall for the
@CRED_club
jackpots, but yesterday I just played the friday jackpot without having any hope of getting anything meaningful. But I scored the JACKPOT and it wasn't a small one. It included a Macbook, Ipad, Airpods Max and a TUMI bag worth

The secret: I built apps for different use-cases to practice.
Then came the template library.
And the rest is history.
PS: still almost a week to go in Feb, but it is the biggest month ever, 2x+ than the previous best month.
@TOIBengaluru
somebody should petition to cancel his license
set an example, and rightly so
let people believe that there is no gundaaraaj on the streets
Repurposed some drawers from discarded furniture to experiment with growing some greens (coriander, fenugreek, spinach, mint).
Just starting up took a lot of time, but the results after a month are not bad at all.
Small wins this weekend:
- revamped the website
- started building a long due idea
- explored the idea of teaching in a CBC setting
- helped a friend build his first Glide app
- considering a project with a domestic client for the first time in a long, long time
This day, last year, somebody bought my first
@glideapps
template - an Expense Tracker app.
365 days later, 84 template sales, purchased by 78 customers, totaling $2,499.16 across 30+ templates I have published to the template store.
Long ago, I wrote about how to get started in nocode.
More specifically to be able to build apps using nocode platforms.
And to learn everything about a new nocode platform, I came up with a list of 5 apps you should build to learn the ropes of the nocode platform.
I have published a Glide App to allow anybody to create a version of the Covid Resources app for their city/area/district.
When you visit this link from a computer, click on the COPY THIS APP button. Once done, follow the instructions on the home screen.
Launched my personal database of 300+ saas companies with affiliate programs as a directory.

It has all the necessary data points to decide if a program is in their area of interest.

changing the game and standardizing acquisitions for the startup community.
We’re also just getting started.
Appreciate everyone’s support.
For the love of startups! 🤘

It hit me after this article was published and I re-read it:
Although this article narrates my story, it is as much Glide's, if not more.
I would never be a 'maker' if not for Glide.
If I could make a bigger endorsement for Glide in the future, I will.

Before thumping your chest about this advanced usage of AI which blames restaurant owners, maybe fix a simpler issue which is your own doing?
The much applauded ‘price match guarantee’, which is your own promise, is a scam.
And you have done nothing about it.
At Zomato, we use various forms of AI, to make our workflows efficient.
However, one place where we strongly discourage the use of AI is images for dishes in restaurant menus. AI-generated food/dish images are misleading, and we have received numerous customer complaints on this

Project with domestic client signed, delivered, paid - all in flat 10 days.
Highlight: Happened via Twitter when somebody saw my work in Glide, without any negotiations, at my usual billing rates.
Lowlight:
Project development time = 4 hours.
Payments via Banks = 5 + 2 days.

I struggle to record videos because I am worried about not being able to record a long enough video to cover a specific topic.
On the other hand, my CRM systems and process training calls go well over 3 hours when I am trying to cover the same topic with a salesperson. 😅
Day 3 of renovating the house:
I already developed massive respect for my dad for first building the house 30 years ago, then managing the furnishing, and one round of renovations - all by himself.
This is hard!
Really hard, especially for us with sedentary lifestyles.
