Off late, have heard so many stories of people getting married/betrothed quickly & then breaking it off due to some kalesh, personally heard many scary stories of men mistreating women 24-28 feels like an age where people, esp women, feel pressured to make a commitment (1/n)

these photos of Eminem at Hailie’s wedding are so powerful to me because they show that he broke the cycle. he grew up with nothing, surrounded by drugs and violence, and he has said for decades that having Hailie inspired him to create a different life with her. they did it.

Excel is the most important toxic entanglement of my life. If I don't do modelling for a while, I start missing it. Countless hours in, I can't help but loathe it. When it's complete, it's magical. Sometimes I just open my own old models and stare. I need better hobbies...

The mindset shift b/w caregiving vs recieving is stark While receiving care you're vulnerable & unable to make rational decisions due to pain/fear As a caregiver you're thinking on behalf of someone else. It forces empathy, one of the most 'adult' experiences I've had

Wes Anderson has out-Wes Anderson'ed himself in the French Dispatch. Each second on the screen oozes with his signature scent. It's like a big decadent, luscious meal where the syrup leaves a texture on the roof of your mouth. You've got to want exactly that to like it.

Re-watched some bollywood movies I used to enjoy and processing the following: 1) Katrina is the manic pixie dream girl in ZNMD? 2) In YJHD, Ranbir and Deepika had spent ~ 5 days with each other before he abandoned his entire career for her? 3) SRK is a stalker in Dil Se?

My ACL and ankle ligament tears have reset my Maslow's hierarchy. I have gone from someone who wanted 100% self actualization to someone who wants to get 80% of their basics in order. Internalising this shift in perspective feels like a game changer.
