With the sheer volume of wins he's been racking up lately, it was about time I penned an ode to the masterful Scottie Scheffler. Naturally, I decided to set it to a candlelight version of a Justin Bieber song.

My latest song doesn't target a specific player. But a few of my favourite storylines 🐜 around the FedExCup. With credit, of course, to Green Day.

The people asked, so I did the honourable thing and produced a song to go with golf's biggest storyline, Brooks vs Bryson.
They say there's a thin line between love and hate, right? 😜

I couldn't be happier for
@tonyfinaugolf
getting the win. I knew it was only a matter of time, and there will be many more!
Tony asked for a remix of *that* song when he did win again, so who am I to deny such a request?

There's one topic in golf you just can't get away from at the moment, and the news about Brooks signing for you-know-who inspired me to put a little song together. 😄

Ever since I started watching golf as a kid I've been obsessed with
@PhilMickelson
– just such an incredible player to watch, a true entertainer and a legend of the game. He deserved an ode.

Many of you will know by now that music is my first love (though golf's pretty high to be fair)
So...I decided to pen an ode to Tony Finau, set to the tune of an REO Speedwagon classic. As you do.
First time I've done something like this, so go easy on me 😊

Kenny Pigman must have felt like he’d won The Masters in 2017!
Honestly, it was high time
@JordanSpieth
got a song, and yesterday’s win gave me the perfect excuse to release an ode to a player who’s never dull to watch. Keep Spiething, Jordan! 😄

A few take aways from The Masters:
- Rahm extremely impressive to win by 4 from wrong side of draw
- Did NOT see that performance coming from Phil
- Spieth will win here again
- Theegala has a Green Jacket in his future
- Something has to be done about slow play
- The app rules
With the return of the European Tour, there's one notable absentee from the UK Swing. Here's an ode to one of the more complex characters in the game, but a player who is a pleasure to watch.

There's one topic in golf which has been trending for a little while now. So, this song probably needs little introduction – it's called "Growing the Game".

Not quite sure how one is supposed to follow-up something like that Tony Finau video, but, well...here's where I ended up.
And, if all else fails, I'm pretty sure I speak on behalf of the entire golf community when I say, AK - we want you back.

Here's my latest golf song – with credit, of course, to the Beatles.
I think we all know
@ByeongHunAn
is one of the good guys. So if you happen to see this, Ben, please know that it comes from a place of love!

Ryder Cup week is here, so what better time to release a little ode to the

. I even managed to enlist the help of some special guest vocalists for the occasion. Bring it home, Luke! 🇪🇺

Talor Gooch gave us maybe the quote of the year this week, and I couldn't let that go without a song. Here's "Asterisk".

I still don’t know what surprises me most about this par-3 tournament moment from 2018:
- the break itself
- the way he casually just popped it back in
- the fact he went on to finish T10 just a few days later
One thing's for sure, some players give us more material to work with than others.
But is has to be said – golf would be a much duller place without characters like Bryson.
(I really should stop choosing songs where I have to provide my own backing vocals 😂)

He may not have won the green jacket, but it was great to see
@JustinRose99
back in contention again. So here's my ode (consider it my application for the Wentworth pro-am caddy vacancy 😉)

One of the most entertaining characters on tour, the man they call 'Big Beautiful' turns 30 today. And if that doesn't deserve an ode, I don't know what does. Have a great one

It's official - courtesy of the South Korean men's team winning gold at the Asian Games, both Sungjae Im and Si Woo Kim will be exempt from military service. Absolutely huge!
Have just heard the sad news that Victor Dubuisson has announced his retirement from golf. There were signs it might be coming, but it’s still jarring that such a naturally gifted player is hanging up his clubs at just 33. My favourite highlight…
There are few pros on here who make me chuckle as much as
@maxhoma23
. I guess he's pretty good at golf too. So, it felt like he needed an ode.

Absolutely loving comeback season on tour.
The Masters - Tiger Woods - first official start in 508 days ✅
RBC Heritage - Morgan Hoffmann - first official start in 921 days ✅
Zurich Classic - Anthony Kim - first official start in 3,630 days?
Feel like a lot of people don’t know this. As a junior he’d worry about winning tournaments in case he had to give a victory speech. Just imagine that. Met him at the Presidents Cup and he was the loveliest guy. Said he liked my songs(!) and I said I wanted his putting stroke.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout finished 2nd this week behind Nick Dunlap @ the Amex. I knew the dude was a heck of a player but I had no idea about his story. As a toddler, he accidentally drank rat poison. His life was saved, but he suffered severe nervous system & speech issues.
Not that I ever over-analyse things of course, but it looks a little like the last paragraph (double spaces after full stops) was written by a different person to the rest of it (single spaces). 🕵️♂️
Matt Fitzpatrick: I have a notebook where I've logged every shot I've hit since I was 15 years old.
Cool. Where do you keep a log of the weights you've added to your grips, Matt?
Here's my ode to everyone's favourite Twitter follow. The man, the legend, the dog-lover (and probably a decent golfer too) –

As many of you will know, I’m no stranger to having a bet on the golf. So, why not write a (brief) Tour Championship betting preview to the tune of “Smooth” by Santana. Right?
Thanks to
@GolfBet
for making it happen. RTs appreciated! 😊
You can always rely on Joel Dahmen to give you an honest assessment of things! Some interesting tidbits here, particularly how firm the fairways are playing (already). Hopefully his prediction of an eclectic leaderboard comes to fruition.
The subject of my latest song is teeing it up in the last
@PGATOUR
event of the year this week. Somehow he's still seeking his first US win, after many close shaves! Hope you enjoy

I don't pretend to know much about such things, but Viktor Hovland changing swing coaches after playing the best golf of his career could go down as the strangest decision since Padraig Harrington decided to remodel his swing after winning two majors.
Incredibly (and certainly aided by Brooks today) I’ve just hit 10K followers – a milestone I would never have expected to hit. It still amazes me how this weird little niche has grown over the last 15 months since the Finau song. Thank you all…more to come! 😊
I think where I struggle with LIV, as a golf fan, is that a win just feels a bit meaningless. Take Lahiri for example – had he held off Smith to win The Players this year, it would have been a huge victory. Whereas, if he wins in Boston this week, it would just feel a bit “meh”.
I’m sure some may disagree, but I’ve got a lot of time for players like Higgs & Dahmen. They’re not your stereotypical golfers, they clearly like to have fun even though they’re out there competing, and they’re great to watch. Ultimately that can only be good for the game.
Not that I ever look for hidden meaning in music of course, but with Bob Mac singing “500 Miles” on the team bus the other day, and the bond that he and Justin Rose formed over the week, this is a little spooky. 🤯
Whether you’ve been cheering for USA or International (or just good golf) this week, I think we can all agree
@TrevorImmelman
and his team did an incredible job with their backs up against the wall. This was no walkover in the end, and it was entertaining as hell. Kudos.
This is very cool.
Best signature: Adam Scott, who I can only assume did a degree in calligraphy
Worst: Gary Player for seemingly using a felt tip and nearly obscuring the ANGC logo
Not to get too gushy, but a large part of the reason I'm so happy for Tony getting the win is that I actually owe a lot to him. Obviously it was my song about him which kicked off this whole golf parody thing, but had he not commented/engaged with it, it would have gone nowhere.
Amidst all the Tiger chat, I’d completely forgotten that this guy is making his competitive return this week. 8 months is a long time, but somehow it feels like longer!
This song is a tribute to a major winner and a stalwart of the
@PGATOUR
. Hoping to see you back in the winner's circle soon

Also, I would have loved it if he'd gone on to say "I still use the same three, four rooms in my house. I still get my pizza from Dominos..." 😂
