On 9 April 2024, ECOSOC decided that #Russia shall no longer be member of the Board of the World Food Programme. In 2020 @WFP 🇺🇳 received the Nobel Peace Prize for its "efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war". A country weaponizing food has no place at the EB.
