One addition to Tucker's great rant
The glass skyscrapers we see everywhere imply two things:
First, that there is no INNER privacy. Everyone can see into you, into your office, into your inner world.
This is why it's so freakish and stressful to many to have glass walls for…

not a good sign for the relationship, also that he backpedaled
She just seems deeply insecure about her project and took it out on him.
@MrLordGhost
@BritMartinez
I don't think that's true.
There are lots of guys who feel settled within their instinct to only be with 1 or 2 girls.
A lot of guys play around because they're avoidant. Parental issues, whatever it is.
They're just raised to be told to sleep around, it's mostly a mistake

My god, it's Helicopter Parenting merged with Neurotic Suburban Perfectionism
You cannot stretch the worst parts of the 2000s to greater absurdity than this
Legally Blonde is a BREATHTAKINGLY aristocratic film, a parable, & one of the great films of the 21st century.
Exoterically a comedy, it's esoterically a tragedy navigating the downfall of femininity, beauty & the anti-neurotic nature of the fulfilled feminine.
Let's dive in 🧵
@realfemsapien
How can men go into a 'lifelong commitment' with a woman who believes that he is responsible, at all times, for the state of her happiness?
It's impossible for anyone to keep anybody happy all the time forever. These expectations are simply unreal.
This thread is fantastic, and inspires several worthwhile mini-threads of their own
Kepler had to fudge his data because he knew the planets moved in ovals, NOT perfect circles -- and yet his math turned out to be WORSE than Ptolemy's, who was fanatical about Heavenly movements
2/ Geniuses often trust their intuitions OVER DATA
Newton and Kepler infamously "fudged" their data to hide discrepancies and back their pet theories
Eysenck writes:
"Usually the genius is right, of course, and we may in retrospect excuse his childish games."

the secret to learning has always been conversation -- socratic learning
they deprived us of that in general, then covid meant depriving it of everyone at all times (no lunch, nutrition, etc.)
there's no easy way to address mass trauma of that kind, seriously

The only catch I have to this is:
KNOW THE FARM, KNOW THE FARMERS!
Do you want someone's dirty hands handling your milk?
Do you know the cow's living conditions during both summer and winter?
Drive out to the local farm and meet everybody, ask questions
It's worth it
When people admire Elon they miss how he got there: he's hilarious.
Everything he's built (possibly outside of Zip2 and PayPal) has come from a sense of FUN. He's open about this.
Tesla's vehicles have to be FAST and SEXY.
SpaceX started as an education-inspiration project…
I've sat with Ayahuasca eleven times, and I did it the way you're supposed to do it -- went to the Amazon and worked with families who have been working with it for hundreds or thousands of years.

Have you looked at the use of Bitcoin in El Salvador? Runs counter to your suggested examples.
Also, LOL ransomware, drug markets, "illegal" remittances

This is exactly it. Men are tired of being bullied by the longhouse mentality.
In five years, male weakness will commonly be seen as low social status behavior, especially by men.

I've heard multiple takes on that from the docs themselves
If they put every case into the VAERS system, they'd never see patients. The system is (intentionally?) unwieldy. It's a half-hour of paperwork. No chance for an overworked doctor, or one with a small practice.

Now that they've stopped this hate speech law, it's only a stopgap in their eyes. They'll try again when the networks are more in their favor.

Yes, they take joy in shaming and belittling men
it's a vicious cycle
the only people who can help are sympathetic figures, but especially men themselves, who need to recreate the fraternal bonds that used to tie us together.
@savannahvicario
how many girls do you think would genuinely appreciate this in their lives?
I think a lot more guys than girls think would love to be this way. Probably also vice versa. We've just broadly lost the language as to how.

Have been a sign language interpreter in medical settings, and never saw any doctor ask or show interest in whether a patient was vaccinated. I can also attest to other interpreters who have seen thousands of doctor-patient interactions, to the same effect.
Nightmare.

Wondering what it would take to pick apart a small section of roman road still around and reverse-engineer.
(We do still have some of the roads, don't we?)
“Malaka” is actually Swedish for “man of high integrity.”

It's the emphasis on glass-only, I don't know why this confuses so much.
Skyscrapers have essentially no personality. Gothic buildings have windows, and sometimes even large windows, but they're not just windows.

This is a moderate, and not a controversial, position.
Punishment for random violence disincentivizes it. Hence why the Gulf countries are so safe.

We are definitely not anywhere close.
The problem is that we've roboticized human beings, not humanized artificial intelligence.
We're at a tragic cultural state where everyone is essentially zombified.
Once people are humanized again, we'll be able to see how deficient our…
The intuition of forthcoming geniuses will have to infuse both -- this time, esotericism doesn't quite work. But we still need the magnificent proclamations of the ancient world.
How can we make ugly truths into art and elegance, without hiding it?
A fresh intuition is coming
Ptolemy's Almagest is breathtaking. We didn't have a more exact prediction of the heavenly bodies until the TWENTIETH century -- 2000 years later.
But Ptolemy himself almost certainly knew Kepler's position was right, and, typical of a genius, fudged the assumptions to produce…
The Ancients refused to be stopped by their own suspicions of what was true. They were zealots, politically motivated.
The heavens moved in perfect circles. Mercury really did move in retrograde. The Gods would never give us the imperfect movement of an oval. They wouldn't dare.
@uberboyo
Work is only great if we have a sufficient-enough Why.
Conservatives seem to love work-in-itself, which is incredibly dumb
If we could live on 10 hrs of work a week, ironically I bet a subset of the population would be working over 100 hours a week on things that deserved it

Not naming names, but it is popular for centimillionaires and billionaires to buy/build bunkers in remote places in New Zealand. You know, for fun.

we projected our dream of women onto them
women project their inner lust onto men
they never cease to misunderstand each other

Megha, many a tomboy has developed competence at masculine skills, and then fulfilled their feminine later in life, when they met a man more masculine than she was.

In the face of literally decades of "white people are oppressors and all white people born today are responsible and owe reparations", your argument is not looking so good my guy.
This is the true purpose of genius according to the ancients -- to seek truth, and then to build bulwarks against it -- to protect us from it.
Modern geniuses, enchanted by these puzzles, stripped them naked and laid them bare.
We gained as much as we lost.

The whole point was that ivermectin facilitated that 1-2 day reduction if you took it in the early stages.
If you took it in the later stages and were hospitalized, it wouldn't help.
This study proves exactly what people who backed ivermectin were saying.

it's not, those are just as terrible in their own way
thanks for a) missing the point and b) giving us one more thing we're going to overcome
Kepler's attack on Ptolemy was one among many in the anti-Aristotelian era of modernity.
Aristotle and his kindred spirits saw the dangers of modernity and held steadfast against it with the promise that everything was already mathematically and spiritually perfect.
