This still gives me chills.
Ingenious.

is one of the best YouTubers/product reviewers we have.
He has high trust & credibility with his audiences because he's honest and takes time to be objective.
If one product review can hurt your company, perhaps you have a bad product. Do no harm doesn't…
I find it distasteful, almost unethical, to say this when you have 18 million subscribers.
Hard to explain why, but with great reach comes great responsibility. Potentially killing someone else’s nascent project reeks of carelessness.
First, do no harm.

Photo taken after I was told my brain was lesion free last month. I have visibly gained weight & experienced hair loss over past year due to meds I was on but that's ok.
I'm still here, not certain why
but if that's not something to smile about, dunno what is🙏🏼🖤

I’m reminded of what Gavin de Becker said in The Gift of Fear:
Niceness does not equal goodness.
Niceness is a decision, a strategy of social interaction, not a character trait. Ppl seeking to control others almost always present an image of a “nice” person in the beginning.

I'm out of words atm and don't have the capacity to talk about him or what he meant to me. Still processing.
It's an odd feeling, losing a parent.

The United Kingdom, The British Isles. Thought that was obvious. I like the Scots and have a deep appreciation for them so I wouldn't tell all Scots not to come visit, just the ones who complain.
TIL that the British monarch still has a ‘champion’, to fight anyone who challenges their right to the throne. Queen Elizabeth’s current champion is a 64-year-old chartered accountant.
It has taken me a while to love my body &to be body positive after recovering from MS
I've had to learn to let go entirely of the external metrics. What does it matter?
We are larger than our physicality
Letting myself be who I am
Reminding myself that my wakefulness is my life
We fell asleep in one world
woke up in another
2020 has taught us that we're only visitors here. Also reminded us how resilient humanity is
Every one of us is, in the cosmic perspective, precious
I am more myself this year & move towards 2021 with peace
I wish peace for you too

Weird or wyrrd comes from old roots that include German werden =“to become, to grow”
another meaning of Welsh wyyrrdd is to have a foot in two worlds, one in reality, the other in imagination
it takes courage to grow up and become who you really are
be unique, be weird, be you

I always say that choosing a life partner is atleast 10X as hard as picking a co-founder.
This is your co-founder for life.
And yet, many are so blasé about it (for the lucky few, that strategy works).
Choose wisely 🧬❤️

Yes, I'm certain there are Indian mathematicians (and others) who measured it. But the point is Carl Sagan and the visual alongside the science that make the idea easily digestible for the viewer.

you finish school
look down, overcome a few obstacles on your way
look up, that cousin who was adorbs in her orange dress at 4 is 21, finished university
parents in their 6th & 7th decade
you were 17 a min ago, at times you still feel that age
where did it go?
bizarre

I'm beginning to think that atleast 50% of our lives is spent between trying to find our tribe/community, trying to unlearn things that were drilled into us when younger, and learning how to eat well.
Feeling particularly shrouded in light (after an odd week). Off to bed thinking about Carl Jung's work:
"..when the individual remains undivided & doesn't become conscious of his inner contradictions, the world must perforce act out the conflict & be torn into opposite halves."
how is it that the entirety of humanity is choosing to invest all its energies and intelligence around essentially 'earning a living' now?
I understand why (to an extent) but it still strikes me as odd that this is what we chose to do with our consciousness and time here
Poverty, I realise, isn't only a lack of financial resources; it is isolation from the kind of people who can help you make more of yourself.

Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler (aka Hedy Lamarr) had beauty and brains, unfortunately she was very unlucky, typecast, she was essentially born in the wrong place and wrong time
In another life, Hedy would have been a computer scientist
“Hedy Lamarr, the Hollywood beauty was also the person behind advances in communication technology in the 1940s that led to today's Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth.”

You do realise that no-one gets out of this alive right?
So I don't understand why some people don't simply live their lives but choose to be contemptible persons towards their fellow humans.
The days are long, and the years are short.
Focus on improving your self.
Be kind.
