Good to be alive Photo taken after I was told my brain was lesion free last month. I have visibly gained weight & experienced hair loss over past year due to meds I was on but that's ok. I'm still here, not certain why but if that's not something to smile about, dunno what is🙏🏼🖤

My doctor gave me steroids to suppress my immune cells, temporary fix Fatigue sets in I want to keep walking, living I'm frustrated, disheartened My eyes well up faster with tears now Doc suggests I take mitoxantrone, a form of chemotherapy Refused more meds, focused on diet #MS

Being human is messy but there’s truly nothing like it I used to be so afraid of my thoughts when younger esp. being alone w/my thoughts for anytime longer than two minutes was concerned that having certain thoughts made me a bad person, not sure where that anxiety stemmed from
