Wofford’s Mike Young went 74-103 without a winning season in his first 6 years. Since then, he has been to the NCAA tournament 5 times in 10 years. Sustaining a winning foundation takes time, patience, and losing seasons. Most coaches/staffs do not have that luxury.

Shannon v. Univ. of Ill. Bd of Trustees: The case is back on track. A status hearing in Fed. Court regarding the preliminary injunction is set for March 15. Recall the court instructed UIUC to afford TSJ procedural protections of the OSCR policy. The court will want an update ⬇️

The Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions partners with the KB Strong Foundation to raise awareness and help with funding research for Glioblastoma, the most common brain tumor in adults. This was a record setting year for funding with big time talent in Central Illinois!

Billy Taylor, Head Coach at D2 @AbbeyMBB , finishes 23-8 after taking over a program that won 2 games few years ago. BT is one of the youngest coaches in Div. I history to get to the Big Dance in ‘04 at Lehigh. Successful longevity about being a good person, not just a good coach.
