Great point coach. I think it’s so important to have a clear system of defensive communication & language that is practiced. Early, loud, continuous talk engages teammates & often intimidates/ slows the execution of the offense. “Sniff it out” & communicate what you see

On defense, communication is essential and silence is deadly. Having a strong terminology helps players play team defense and anticipate what's coming. When doing defensive drills in practice, the gym should always be popping with energy and communication.
