Despite the SNP Cllrs voting today to save the Kilbowie Centre, Labour Cllrs have voted to close it, while Tory Cllrs abstained. Despite having to work within the confines of Tory austerity, the SNP are drafting a budget which would save Kilbowie. Kilbowie's closure is needless.

The UK gov is removing DVLA services from the Post Office network that will impact millions of customers. This is unacceptable. Tories have said post offices would be the ‘front office’ of gov in communities, yet this action is the opposite of that.

Tory Sec of State for Scotland, David Mundell, says he takes "full responsibility" for not "meeting the timescale he aspired to" in amending the Bill that would see the automatic devolution of Scottish powers to Holyrood. That is simply not good enough.

The UK Government cannot continue to stand by and allow Post Offices to be run into the ground through branch closures and mounting costs. Sub-Postmasters deserve justice with a statutory inquiry as promised by Boris Johnson, and the public subsidy must be increased.
