This is an interesting development in one of the few GOP opportunity seats in NOVA located in middle PWC Republican Ian Lovejoy was running for State Senate, but now will run in HD-22 There is currently no Dem candidate in a seat that went 51-48 for Hung Cao in 2022

Either parent can be the perpetrator, or both parents could be, or it could be that one parent is just as much a victim of abuse as the child. Either way, there are extremely legitimate reasons these policies exist.
