At the cafe this morning, a little kid pops his head over and says “do you speak Māori??” I said “Āe!” and we had a cute convo in te reo about parakuihi. His Mum says he loves finding people to speak Māori with in spaces like this - a little reo leader he is! 💕

A ten trip to town on the train is now the price of one day parking, $20. That + the time in traffic, it makes no sense to drive in. Train passengers seem to be back to pre-COVID numbers. I know it wasn’t a climate policy but it has turned out to be an excellent one 🥳🙌🏼
