When people show me #lake -effect misovortices, but don't show VEL 😢 (*or use a bad color pallet*)...I was forced to be today years old when I learned how to access real-time data on amazon 😁 #miwx Side note...I forget how shallow lake-effect bands are (0.5 vs 1.3 scan)

Another day of non-stop excitement in the field watching the radar spin 😁. Actually it is pretty exciting because we are testing a new motor system in 30+ mph winds and it’s still spinning 😊. Takes a lot to keep a 12.5ft dish moving outside a radome! @DOWFacility

Debris ring in the Benkelman tornado at 221352. Delta-V at this time was 58 m/s at 99 m ARL (above radar level). Road network and storm motion had us back about 10 km...before the tornado dissipated.

U can take the pod out of Argentina, but u can’t take the Argentinian sign off the pod :). From Cordoba Province Argentina to Nebraska, our pods are world travelers...just don’t check their passports :). Deployed 4 pods just before the McCook tornado. tTWIRL.

Holy C-band DOW! 3db and 7 hrs later I tested the primary @RELAMPAGO2018 mode! Totally uncalibrated atm (and unlevel and boring clouds), but we have 3 days before it leaves 4 Argentina :)! Testing in more exciting wx the next 2 days...among so many other things :). Amazing team!
