I think that @LinkedIn has one of the worst APIs that I've ever touched in all my life as a Software Engineer. It's poorly documentated, OLD, simply doesn't work and my rate-limits are ridiculously low. I have 10 requests per DAY! What is wrong with you guys? FIX YOUR API.
