In this day in DOW history: 🌪️I documented the detailed evolution and structure of multiple vortices for the 1st time. 🌪️I measured winds exceeding 300 mph over Bridgecreek, Oklahoma where it caused F5 damage.

4 years ago today... #HurricaneHarvey held together at landfall...which is rare...my people managed to get me in the eye...and in addition to sampling mesovortices, tornado scale vortices (TSVs) were documented and linked with enhanced damage.
