I went to an outdoor birthday gathering. It was warm and beautiful. Until covid came up in the convo. My husband and I are the only ones in a group of 10 who think covid is still around. Everyone says itβs endemic. We have to live with it. I left the party.

Cruising altitude. Iβm the only one masked in the plane. Coughing, sniffling, sneezing people all around me. ππ€π»ππ€π»am I the only sane one?

16 family members gathered in one room for my sweet mamas MAID. We all wore masks, windows open. Hepa filters. 2 days later 1 person COVID +. 9 days later no one else has tested positive. Testing every couple of days.

My sweet son in law left our world. He battled systemic sclerosis with dignity, humour, strength and love. He cheated death a couple of times and we were hopeful that new lungs would improve his life. We all loved him. Especially my daughter.

Took my 91yo dad to optometrist yesterday. I wore N95 and gave him one to put in. He took it off immediately when he saw no one else wearing one. I said Iβm keeping mine on. The doc asked if she should put one on. I said yes please.

Outdoors is 400-500. In my house itβs typically 6-700. Any higher I open windows. If guests are over everyone tests first and I always have fans, air purifiers and windows cracked. I donβt go anywhere indoors without masking.

During non Covid times we all know that kids at school transmit and acquire infectious diseases. If kids arenβt wearing masks it is obvious that Covid will spread and be brought home to family.

Since may of 2020 it has been obvious that COVID is airborne, it spreads by aerosols, and that masks prevent this.
Why are we having christmas concerts in schools without any precautions?

SARS-CoV2 is still everywhere. Consistently wearing a well fitting, high quality respirator in public places gives you a high level of protection. Anyone saying otherwise is full of sh*t. I've pretty much given up on others taking precautions so I go it alone & take pride in it.
