I'm seeing some claims floating about here that the Scottish Government has "banned" woodburning / biomass heating. This isn't true. I've seen people worried by these claims, thinking they'll be forced to rip out their woodburner! No, you won't.

There have been differences in income tax between Scotland and rUK for 7 years. Labour voted in favour of them in 2021, 2022 & 2023. Their apparent new policy of no difference would mean cuts of around £1.5 billion. The biggest failure of economic policy is Labour backed Brexit.
