I'm seeing some claims floating about here that the Scottish Government has "banned" woodburning / biomass heating. This isn't true. I've seen people worried by these claims, thinking they'll be forced to rip out their woodburner! No, you won't.

There have been differences in income tax between Scotland and rUK for 7 years. Labour voted in favour of them in 2021, 2022 & 2023. Their apparent new policy of no difference would mean cuts of around £1.5 billion. The biggest failure of economic policy is Labour backed Brexit.

I welcome the changes to the original, completely unacceptable proposals for bus services in Perthshire @StagecoachEScot . The revised proposals are not perfect but are a big improvement. I am very grateful to local people and @thecourieruk for helping to make this happen.

Stagecoach has released their new timetable for Perthshire after threatening to axe routes. It's a victory for campaigners, including @thecourieruk , as the bus company roll back on the cuts - but the fight continues to safeguard services for the future.
